Just after seeing a few whiney posts about it, figured I'd just lay this out there because its true...its one of the best and most balanced PvP modes in awhile, nothing ever really feels OP, because there's always ways to strike back. Since September I've played crucible daily for hours, its my go to shooter for matches.
The beauty Is every weapon feels pretty good and all have their own spin. You can smash face with ARs, Fusions, scouts, HCs, shotties.... I love how each weapon feels fairly different and allows for plenty of styles. I just recently moved into fusions and scouts and both are becoming favorites. I'll always be an AR/shotty guy but this game is making me playing different styles because of how much variation there can be in weapons.
I jut figured in a sea of complaints I'd toss this out because I wasn't really thinking I'd PvP a lot when destiny was still on its way and I've become hooked to the crucible. Also with the way Halo MCC is a total disaster, its made me appreciate crucible that much more. Bungie shows they are the master of fun PvP.
Who else has found it to be one of the best newer pvps?

I agree. Its fun and i love how the supers and heavy ammo cam change an entire game.

5 Respuestas6 vs 6 on tiny maps is a joke in terms of PVP standards.

12 RespuestasDestiny PvP is just another casual experience that other games do better. It's amusing but with all the random elements and the lack of skill based matchmaking it grows rather boring quickly. I'm actually growing tired of PvP experiences being custom tailored for the casual masses, I've been playing single player and Co-Op games more as of late while I wait on a competitive based game.

6 RespuestasYou mean, shotgun rushing fusion crucible?
-
1 RespuestaLol. everyone who complains how terrible the crucible is are just casuals who blame game mechanics. If crucible takes no skill then why are you do you guys still suck?
-
1 Respuesta1. Terrible lag during combat. (I never get red pings or anything, always clear with good internet). 2. Nobody can really keep their sprees. You can be good all you want but eventually a super will wreck that spree and nothing you can do to stop it:/ Those kds should not be as low for good players and bad players should have worse kds. You can say it's good to keep the game more balanced against good players but good players should be rewarded with more kills, not cheap super around the corner

2 RespuestasAgree..and everyone saying this game doesnt take skill because of one hit kills..try not dying thats the skill part
-
34 RespuestasSupers. Shotguns. Fusion Rifles. Heavies. That's all this PvP is. No skill necessary. It appeals to the masses of Down syndrome players.

Its the only fun I have had in PvP in over 15 years.

7 RespuestasEditado por TH0MAS THE DANK : 12/7/2014 3:06:27 AMDestiny PvP is an abomination, littered with bugs and horrible netcode. Maps are very poorly designed accommodating to the current shotgun and fusion rifle meta. No objective based gameplay which makes it extremely bland, poor weapon balance, the retarded way supers work (bladedancer, fist of panic) and horrid respawn placement. It's good for shooting fish when you're bored but it gets old after 30 minutes. It accommodates to a very herpy derpy kind of gameplay that's popular among young kids or people who struggle to understand tactics. Anytime I want to play real PvP I jump on BF.

7 RespuestasHahahahahahaha hahahahahahaha... No. Crucible is one of the most frustrating non fun multiplayer experiences I've ever had the misfortune of having to play in the entirety of my video game playing career

1 RespuestaI can count the number of crucible maps on one hand...

3 RespuestasUntil there's CTF, this is not PvP.

3 RespuestasHold on. You play hardcore? Yeah, no wonder u don't like Destiny. You actually have to aim, which you just confirmed that you can't aim worth shii. I play CoD also, but I play ranked play or GBs, so I'm sure you're not up to par with me.

The best thing about crucible is there are a hell of a lot less campers than most other fps games
-
Bump for this, agree completely! I've begun to think that those who cry of imbalance just aren't so good at the game. *2cents

1 RespuestaReal Reason why PvP "Works so well" is because its 30fps which allows for Gunfights. If you look at other recently(within past 2years) released 60fps Shooters MP; those games Don't play well at all. The Goal of 60fps really just leads to Online Multiplayer games playing so Poorly .

I like the iron banner better than regular crucible. I'm not good at either but I enjoyed it more. The Suros was aggravating but I got over it and still earned level 5 and bought everything but didn't get the ship or pistol which was a drop anyway. It was a big weekly commitment from me but I did it and rock the gear and weapons :-)

3 RespuestasWhile it is fun, I am getting tired of the people with bad connections. Was just in a match where the 2 top scorers on the other team had very bad connection and they were just so hard to kill. Sometimes it still showed a full health bar after several hits and then 2 seconds later they died. I wonder if it's possible that some people do this on purpose? Btw, they were the only 2, the rest off the people in the game had green connection bars

3 RespuestasEditado por THUNDERCHILD: 12/7/2014 1:18:54 AMIn my opinion the crucible is this games one redeeming quality, but it really is bare bones. Ctf and private matches are a must. I'd like to see at least 15 vs 15* and more kinds of vehicles. * at least on the next gen consoles. Even dice gives us a higher 32vs32 player count on X1 than the 12vs12 player count on the 360 for bf4 because we paid for machines that can handle it.

i like it but it needs more fixes

Editado por WormChi: 12/7/2014 12:33:07 AMI agree. It's the most pvp I've played since COD4. People will always complain something is always unbalanced but that's just the way it is. There will always be some elite weapons. They're called exotics for a reason. Instead of everyone complaining about weapons like Suros, which is now not even a viable weapon, people should be adapting to the meta instead of calling for a nerf. This means taking in to account what people are using regularly for your initial load out and switching it up on the fly during a match. If you're getting killed by hand cannons grab a scout next time and keep your distance. If ARs have you down switch to a hand cannon and get in there. This is what's awesome IMO and what is the driving force behind upgrading weapons and getting that one exotic you need for the next IB.

Agreed man lol

I could go on and on until I'm blue in the face about the stuff I don't like in destiny PvP. Don't take that the wrong way, I just see it as something that is not really for me. I've played a lot and I gave it a chance, but I don't get anywhere near the enjoyment I did out of the battlefield games, or the treyarch call of duties. I came into this game fully expecting to play mostly pvp with a little pve on the side, and it's turned out the complete opposite. Which is fine by me so long as I'm enjoying it. Just odd as I've always been a huge online FPS multiplayer fan.

It would be if there was less lag
