Man -blam!- this! I got the game three weeks ago (on black friday) and i was about to participate to my first iron banner event, long story short. You need the DLC for iron banner?! bullshit! Better fix it right -blam!-ing now Bungie!

FAKE. WINNERS NEVER GET GOOD STUFF. THAT'S ONLY FOR STUPID NOOBIES THAT JUST GO PASSING AROUND WITH NO KILLS AND NO CAPTURES. BUNGIE ARE SCAVENGERS. I hate to see HOW the -blam!- I waste 205 hours in Vault, Crucible and Exotics Contrat to see shitty people (less than 1.600 grimoire) on level 31. Bungie is laughning at the face who buy his game early. Loot isn't RNG. Loot only rewards noobies of shit, and the good player never get good stuff.

So, there is a lot of confusion involving Light Level. HELL, I'm confused. I love how we have to learn in this game as a community because there is no real explanation on how anything works in this game. For example, I have to hear how exotic shards and commendations work from someone ranting in the forum. Instead of getting a reasonably, logical, explanation from the developer. (the ghost is useless half the time, explains nothing in the raid) Anyways, Light Levels. To get to level 30, all four of your equipped armor pieces had to have plus 30 light. +30+30+30+30 = Light Level 30, Correct? So, if the new vanguard and crucible armor in the tower has plus 33 light. +33+33+33+33, would that not equal a light level of 33 (with all four pieces equipped) or at least give you a maxed out light level of 32 on the brink of 33? If not, Why not? Even if you add the light points 30+30+30+30 = 120 light points for Lv. 30. Add 31+31+31+31 = 124 light points for Lv. 31. Now it's clear that there is a range for each level and that if you have between 120 light points and 124 light points, you will be Light Level 30. So with all that said, Does the new vanguard and crucible armor pieces with +33 light get you to the Lv. 32 cap? (with them maxed out and equipped of course) If not true, there must be some illogical bull-turd tier system in place for reaching the new light levels. What if they made it so you could only have one of the new legendaries equipped at a time. (OMFG) I'm starting to think maybe the raid armor is useless, even the new raid armor. The raid armor is now at best an in game trophy with its unique look and specials. - You Sir, are stoopid! a stoopid monkey! -How so? I did the math. (+32+32+32+32 = 128 light points for Lv. 32) (+33+33+33+33 = 132 light points for Lv. 33) So, between 128 light points and 132 light points, will give you a Light Level of 32. So GTFO hater. Seriously, is it some illogical bull-turd tier system for light level? Is the math not correct? Was it all for not? I double checked it is +33 light.

Reading comments.... I know that a lot of players are dropping like flies. Its understandable as to why. I have tried to not think about it but what it comes down to is that Destiny is disappointing its players. Players are customers. If you dont have customers, you dont make money. We pay their bills (indirectly) but we aren't being listened to. I dont mean all those who are whining about frivolous things. Im speaking about the players who honestly want it to succeed. Some people carefully and thoughtfully write whats wrong because they care and want to keep playing. Bungie is slowly taking those reasons away. Ive played the first 2 missions of the Dark Below. Yes ive done the raid (on normal dont judge) so I've played the game. I want to keep playing. This commendations idea is horrible. The legendary guns being redone is horrible. The exotic reset is horrible. More content is needed, not revisions that make a game less rewarding and more like a chore. I've complained very little. The only complaints I've had was the story being butchered and cannibalized, and now the new game mechanics. Ive never known of a game to keep revising itself. Revisions are supposed to add to the experience and improve it, not make it worse or to reset gamer's progress. I was so close to level 30 and now it will take longer because i have to rebuy and regrind my legendary gear. Players are dropping out because they are disenfranchised (literally) with this game and the way the developer has half listened (at best) to the very people that bought amd paid for the game. I already bought the season pass so i will play until that. I however will not be buying another DLC in the future. Nor Destiny 2. I cant believe there is already talk of a sequel when this game isnt even complete or fixed yet. FIX THE FIRST BEFORE YOU MOVE ON TO THE SECOND. I dont think this is illogical or a crazy expectation. Malphisto said it very well. Bungie is lucky to have this many people care. Maybe if they listened more then they would have a 10 year plan become successful because what we all want is a great game. BUNGIE, You are lucky you have a fanbase that practically has done the work for you except coding and testing, and you cant even listen to us after all that. TLDR: bungie messed up, fix it before its too late or you wont even have a 2 year franchise on your hands. We care. Appreciate that before its too late. Please no trolling. Im not bashing im stating what ive seen in forums, blogs, gaming sites that Ive read. Im writing this because I do love the game but im starting to fall out of love and now i just like it. Lets keep improving this game, and not punish its fanbase. Reward it....

The main thing the grinds my gears is that my raid gear from the vault of glass is now pointless to have since I can just go buy my way to 31 meaning all the raids so far are kinda pointless. I think you should have to at least beat the vault of glass to be able to reach 30 since that was the previous level cap. Any new players or characters will more easily become level 31 and be a higher level then me. I know life is not fair but I think new players should at least be required to experience the vault of glass, developers put time into. I can say in no way will I be doing it again since its pointless now. Also think they should allow legendarys to be upgraded too since the fatebringer is a monster.

Honestly i like your Game for whatever Reason! I am One of the (hopefully) few maniacs who have a warlock lvl 28 on X0 and a Lvl 17 warlock on PS4 ( which i only use for crucible ). The biggest issues for me are: 1) still this absence of story at all - for example i got called in by a friend on the last 20 mins of the story in the Black Garden, we fought this three Statues and this Black piece of a thing exploded and i asked my Buddy what's next and he laughed at me coz he already knew that was it - i mean what a crappy, lousy, bad designed end - Viva Pinata had more Story and Characters. 2) i somehow do the Grind - but now i am totally lost : ascendent Shards, ascendent Energy, Glimmer, Helium filaments, relic icons, Strange coins, motes of light, crucible marks, crucible Level, vanguard Marks, vanguard Level, vanguard Reputation, crucible Reputation, Spinmetal Leafs, exotic Shards, Iron Banner xp, xp, .... This in combination with RNG Loot Drop - C'mon guys what's wrong with you

Constructive criticism is one thing, but Im not sure I understand the need to personally assault people online over trivial disagreements in an online game forum. Especially in one that follows a rather unimportant weekly update. You know the biggest factor in the success or failure of an online game? Its own gamers and the community they make among themselves. If the game let you down in the first 3 months, then don't spend more money on it. That's really the limit of our power. They are a business after all, and we are consumers. If you really want to stick it to the man, stick it to his wallet. After the next DLC I might have to join you too. I need a story to justify all the killing I'm doing after all... If you agree with the above paragraph you might be angry at Bungie or Activision. You may even feel like you have a right to go online and vent your anger until everyone else is as angry as you are about it. You are half right. But other people paid for it too, and if they have fun with it they should be allowed to enjoy it without getting bashed over the head by everyone that was disappointed by it. Taking your anger out on other players is called friendly fire where I'm from, and people enjoying things can't possibly be hurting you. Ok, you were disappointed. We get it. We got it last week too. And the week before that. Honestly at some point it just gets annoying. I agree with a lot of the criticism, but I have also genuinely enjoyed halo style physics mashed up with stat gear and some special abilities. Despite all the debate about mechanics, gear, or the lack of story, the worst feature in Destiny so far is its own community. You can go through the last few weeks of forum posts if you doubt this at all. There is nothing Bungie can program in the game to fix this kind of problem. This problem here is on us to solve.

Here is a true story about businesses those that pay extra get more...every one eats so ill use a food metaphor to explain....if you go to a restaurant and order an extra side or something to make your meal more to your liking you will pay extra...those that dont pay extra dont get anything extra. DeeJ, for the next weekly update could I pose the following questions to the team : [Edited to add player submitted questions] - As someone who never got to do VoG, are there going to be any upgrades in the rewards to compel people to still play it? - Since the raid legendaries represent special achievements that not all players complete, are there any plans to allow raid-only items to be upgraded, similar to recent exotic upgrades? - What is the status on LFG functionality in-game so I don't have to use a 3rd party website to put a raid team together? - Are there plans for a 3rd subclass? I can see a box in the interface for it, and there was a lot of expectation that it would be added soon - I can see a lot of backstory through the grimoire cards, but not in the game. Are there plans to add this? The current feeling is that there isn't much story to be found - Are there any plans to implement group / clan features in-game? Again I can find these outside the game but coordinating these functions through 3rd party is clunky - Vault space is running low for some of us. Are there any plans to implement additional storage or a bag system? - Can we get a replacement method for turning materials into marks? Are there plans to allow other kinds of mark exchanges? - Currently there are 4 groups that accept crucible marks, but only 1 that accepts vanguard marks. Given the large focus on PVE content, can we get an additional vendor that accepts vanguard marks? - Since Xur is a weekend-only vendor, are there plans to prevent items from reoccurring in consecutive weeks for the same class? Players feel that they are randomly put at a disadvantage when item selection repeats - Now that there is new content from the DLC, are there any plans to increase the weekly mark limit above 100? - Any plans for crucible capture the flag? I want my money back. When Bungie announced that with the new expansion, The Dark Below, players will have to go to Xur to upgrade their old exotic weapons and, I was thinking: fine, I'll spend a [i]couple[/i] of strange coins, and maybe a bit of glimmer. Much to my dismay, I came to find out what the real cost of upgrading these is today. So lets see here, cost of upgrading an old exotic: 7000 - 8000 Glimmer 1 Exotic Shard (7 strange coins to buy from Xur) Honestly, screw that. Screw that real hard, Bungie. A couple of weeks ago, I finally got my Patience and Time fully upgraded, much to my delight. I first received it by luck out of a legendary engram the second or third week after the game came out. I don't particularly look forward to upgrading it again. It was long and arduous struggle. I've had enough frustration with trying to beat the Vault of Glass on hard legitimately. There's a distinct line between fun and masochism. Which shouldn't be surprising to Bungie fans (does anyone remember the ViDoc Challenge on the final mission of Halo 3? FML). There's glory, and then there's brutal, mind-bending, difficult grinding. All the while you hope you get the Vex Mythoclast, only to get bloody ascendant materials. Let's break it down. 7000 glimmer is about what I earn in maybe a weeks worth of playtime (beginning to see their plan now). I play a bit more than moderately than a casual gamer (maybe 3-4 hours a day). I have about a dozen different exotic weapons spread over my three Guardians. So effectively, I'll be spending most of my glimmer and a good chunk of my strange coins just to scrape by to upgrade my existing inventory which I fought the good fight to get, with little left over to upgrade my new legendary gear. Side note: thank you Bungie for making my Vault Raid gear useless now. So some of you might be thinking "why not just farm then for glimmer?". Farming sucks. It's incredibly boring, repetitive. I was somewhat relieved when Bungie patched the treasure cave. Yay, my friends will want to do something other than stare at a black hole and pull the right trigger.A dear and close personal friend of mine has been hard up on glimmer recently, and went searching online for ways to farm it. He found it and now he's right back to that same old boring grind. Myself until a couple of weeks ago, Glimmer hasn't really been an issue for. is it me, or have ad's not been spilling out as much glimmer. I used to have glimmer coming out my wazoo, having to buy ammo synthesi just to prevent myself from wasting my earnings by hitting the arbitrarily low glimmer cap. Now, I'm seeing my bank is about to break and I'm pissed. I want to know what sadistic developer over at Bungie is making these decisions. Does he want to piss off people into not playing and quiting? As it is now, I'm certainly not going be to getting Destiny 2. Perhaps that's an overreaction, but I paid for Bungie game. This recent update to the game certainly isn't my only grievance with the game. Everyone knows the story sucks. By the end of the game, I'm still a little confused about what the hell I just accomplished. There aren't any characters you develop a bond with to other than your ghost, who becomes a bit obnoxious after 12th time running the same mission to complete some bounty. Could you guys vary his sound bites a bit? His reactions and emotions are not the same as mine after the 12th time running a mission to complete a bounty. "Shut up, Ghost. I've got this." is what my friends and I say whenever he overreacts to an easily controllable situation. Compare Destiny to Halo, and you will feel that the game is quite hollow. When Sgt. Johnson died in Halo, I was upset but it was part of the story, a gripping one at that. If someone were to pop "the Stranger", I wouldn't particularly care. By the way, seriously? the Stranger? That's your way of leaving a cliff hanger? You buy a game hoping to... I don't want to even finish the thought because I just realised I cared too much. I was going to on a rant about Crucible or the Iron Banner, but I think everyone already knows that story. I will say this though: I came from a clan of dedicated COD players (yes, I know: Destiny is not COD). I'm one of the few remaining members of my clan who will still play Destiny or Crucible for that matter (emphasis on will, not likes to). We're used to dealing with frustration, not nonsense. Also, seeing the worst performing player on the losing team getting an exotic, is particularly frustrating. It seems to happen more frequently than not. So who do I contact about getting my money back?

Fool me once, shame on you. Fool me twice, shame on me. So glad I didn't buy the expansion pass or pre order. Keep your pixels and your grind. I especially love how two of the crucible maps are being moved to a limited playlist for those who don't buy the expansion. Hah. That's fine. I'm not going to re-purchase what I already paid for. So many consumerist sheep.
