Not sure if this is happening to anyone else, but I've noticed that after Crota's sword disappears from your hands the aim sensitivity goes completely haywire. The turn rate of your character is MUCH quicker than before you picked the sword up. And it stays that way until you load a different planet/game mode/etc.
This has happened to me in both story mode AND patrol mode (from the new Crota events that came out this week). Not sure if it matters but I'm also on PS4. Luckily it's not something that affects the Crucible, but I fear with the upcoming DLC being central to this whole Crota thing (possibly getting more use out of the sword) I figured it would be worth mentioning.

3 RespuestasI'll back up Akuma07's clarification. It only happens to me when I'm sprinting. Walking seemed fine. Aiming I can't comment on. To help with the bug squashing: * This occurred both times I've picked up the sword in Crota events. * Happened on the Moon first and in the Cosmodrone second * The first time, I had the sword the entire time. It disappeared in my hands * The second time I picked up the sword and promptly dropped it * Both times, my sprinting rotation speed went through the roof * I use sensitivity setting 2

+1 here

I play on 10 and notice no difference. So it presumably forces you to a 10. Hope that helps.

This happened to me with a mission in the add-on in which you pick up a melee weapon. Turn speed went way up suddenly. Really threw me off.

I knew it!

Its called game adrenaline.. Its a rush with the sword....

1 RespuestaTo clarify, this does appear to be correct. BUT, your sensitivity is only increased while sprinting. Normal walking around is still the same as always.

This has happened to me on the xbox one every time I've picked it up, not a big deal on the story mission, but rather annoying on patrol as you are stuck with it like that. I actually avoided getting the sword in patrol today to avoid the bug, which was a shame. Hopefully this gets fixed, especially if its big in the DLC.

I can confirm that. I am getting this issue sporadically on XBox One. Switch weapons, start running and I can get completely spun around. Change the sensitivity and usually it's back to normal. I've also had cases where I had to put the sensitivity to 1 before I could even aim reliably. The next time I booted up the Xbox, I had to set it to 5 to get it back to normal, then after playing for a while it got jumpy again and I I set it back to 3. I have no idea what causes it and I can't reliably reproduce it. I don't have this issue with other games like TitanFall or Wolfenstein - so it does seem to be Destiny specific. When I started playing Destiny (1.0.0) I usually had my sensitivity set to 6 with my Titan. Now I have to be 3 or 4 to reliably / repeatedly aim. I think it changed after the 1.03 release. HTH..

1 RespuestaThe same happens with the relikt in vault (I think it started around two weeks ago?). Sensitivity goes way up... setting a new sens in the menu and setting it back helps...

Had a weird sensitivity issue last night and now that you've said this it was RIGHT after I had used the sword on the cosmodrome. It continued for the rest of my patrol.
