House of Wolves DLC Will Require Resetting Both Subclasses to Unlock the 3rd Subclass
In an effort to increase player engagement, players will have to empty their Vaults of items and break them down before receiving a "token of the third". After using this token player first two subclasses will be reset and can then be re-leveleed to unlock the third subclass.

You have to dismantle 21 raid armor pieces of both VOG and CE. Of all 3 classes. Fully upgraded. Then you get a token and take it to Ikora Rey. She will give you the "depleted shard of grind". To fill it... you have to play the Summoning Pits and Devils Lair 25 times without dying on Tuesday between 11 am and 1 pm. When you complete this task you finally get the fully charged "shard of the grind". Now you take it back to the Speaker and get the "grind me some more token". This token can be exchanged for the "undying light fragment" when.... Xur is in the tower! It costs 7000 glimmer and 67 strange coins and 99 motes of light. With this undying light token you are allowed to participate in this special PVP control match. "Earn 22000 points (only on Monday night) by killing hunters, death slows progress!" Only after undying light becomes "radiant light of grind" will you be able to get the third subclass: "grind runner". Coolest thing is... When expansion 3 (Red Sand and Cobwebs) comes out... You have to reset everything. Again! But hey! Look at the bright side. Lots of people love the new grinding and think grinding is new content. At least some people can't wait!

And then take a legendary engram to the Cryptarch, who is back to his launch de-cryptings skills. If it's blue instead of legendary you must get to level 20 by only watching the I could tell you cutscene, before you can go back to the beginning. Also PS players get a full set of exotic gear for the tower only Speaker class.

11 Respuestasbungie addressed that theres no plans or anything even worked on in a mystical 3rd subclass it dont exsist.. and while they admit that while its not impossible for the distant future right now theres no plans... nobodys working on it.. and the mystical 3rd space is left over coding from when you could make copies of your class load outs from the beta. so stop spreading lies and stupidity till you have definitive proof showing otherwise.

16 RespuestasUpon further deliberation, the developers have deemed this too easy, and you must now dismantle 24 exotic weapons and 18 exotic armors of different names in addition to the above requirements. Doing so will give you one exotic token. You must take this token to Xûr and redeem it for a full set of white armor and white weapons. Upon equipping these items, all of your progress and data will be deleted except for these items and they will be equipped to your new character upon character creation. These armor and weapons will get a little * next to their names, so you know you worked hard for them. They will allow you to get in the new level 1* raid in the third expansion where guardians will battle it out with re-skinned low-level dregs and shanks and a larger re-skinned shank boss called Shanks Prime.
