I'm shocked at the fact that people are upset about 7. I mean, that means that people would rather farm planet materials for hours on end just for a little small amount of Crucible/Vanguard marks, rather than face your fears in the crucible?? That's obscured. I'm glad that they added this change, because I am maxed out on both Crucible and Vanguard marks, and I do not favor having to farm for hours to get these materials. And yes, I have farmed for hours for ALL of these materials and have more than enough for the moment.

I've only traded mats for marks a few times. Was hoping to get enough marks to get a more powerful weapon. At the time, I had 137/150 marks.

no, how about it's because we hate crucible, because it's a waste of time, because the reward system is garbage? match after match, you do well, but get either no rewards, or shit/worthless rewards...there's no point.

I like it cause I'm probably never going to max vanguard, and now I have a use for marks :D Generally can't stand PVE, enemies are so stupid.

wah wah wah. look, all im saying is that it's easier now for the MAJORITY to get materials now rather than farming, and that I didn't understand why anyone would rather farm for hours. I UNDERSTAND THAT NOW YOU HAVE TO KEEP YOUR PRECIOUS HOTCAKES OUT OF THE CRUCIBLE, but there is also an option to get the marks from the vanguard strikes rather than the crucible. it's a win fuccing win mutha fucca. Now stfu and stop trying to sound smart.

Try again whiney boy. I play PvP a LOT more than PvE as the majority of my post make plain It HIGHLY annoys me that I have to play PvE to upgrade my weapons Having said that? I still don't think I have the right to make everyone else at the way I do When you grow up? Try it sometime

Prior to the patch I could get Crucible marks by selling 50 materials to the Crucible Quartermaster in return for 5 Crucible Marks. Now I can't do that. Now I have to go into the Crucible to get Crucible Marks. This means if I don't like PVP, then I'm not going to get Crucible Marks. This means that I'm no longer buying items from the vendors for Crucible, New Monarchy, Dead Orbit, and FWC. You do not get Crucible Marks from the Vanguard Strikes ... you get Vanguard Marks from those.

Yeah Bungie should just come out and say that faction gear is crucible gear. If you want crucible gear you gotta play PVP. If you want raid gear or vanguard gear you gotta play PVE. Just sux that pvp vendors out number their pve brethren 5 - 2 Additional to vanguard vendors would help this problem if Bungie insists on keeping this change. P.s. for the record, I much prefer to buy materials. Already had everything I was ever gonna buy from all the vendors. Now I have something I can spend marks on.

glorious patch? serious hard recete..limited content, glorious for game live with expansions ..a work in progress actualy in beta phase.. d load issues client side..rng scripting issues ..segregated gear and community based on wow. pve /pvp. re read the notes.

Without material exchange factions are of no use to non-crucible players. We literally have the vanguard qm and the class vanguards, that's it, missing out on the three factions. Fair enough we still wouldn't get to use the two crucible markets but the others were a possibility.

How about doing the nightfall and the weekly which give roughly [i]900 rep?[/i] or just do tiger strikes? Jesus, you're creating a problem when there isn't one.

Who cares about rep. You can't buy faction items without Crucible Marks. And you don't get those from Nightfall, Weekly, or Tiger Strikes.

Still no way now to get crucible marks without playing PvP. Therefore can only buy from vanguard qm if I don't want to play PvP. Try opening your mind a little; just because it doesn't affect you doesn't mean it's not a problem.

Why should people be forced to play crucible. Or be forced to use their marks at vanguard while crucible players get 4 options
