I was up to the last column of upgrading void fang vestments warlock exotic chest piece prior to the patch. Light was at 25 (two upgrades to go). Logged in after patch and the light was at 27. Upgraded it one more now that it didn't require ascendant shards and it's now at 28 light.
This little change just moved me into level 29 after being stuck on 28 for some time. Pretty happy about that!

I saw that, too. My Warlock has Light of Nemesis, Voidfang Vestments, and Sunbreakers. Only the first is maxed out, at the moment - but noticed a jump on the latter two last night. I was at 29/27/27 before the patch, depending on how I geared - and I was 29/28/28 when I first signed on last night. Just with what I had on-hand, I was 29/29/28.

That happened to my hunter too -- so I guess they changed light levels on something by a couple -- exotics maybe? Regardless nice to be a 29.

Yeah man, they just buffed the light of exotic pieces at certain upgrade levels I think
