Blades of Crota have started showing up in the Cosmodrome.

Yeah, just discovered one on my way down to the hive room near the patrol starting point. I wonder if anything else like that has been added quietly.

Yeah. Seems to be random places. Group of Hive shoe up and one drops a sword you can run round with for a bit :D
