20 materials for only 10 marks?! Damn, that makes upgrading really easy.

40 marks to full upgrade something :D

Now everybody will be farming glimmer instead of materials. Well, and marks but those come naturally through playing the game. Glimmer has been my issue as of late, after leveling up some backup gear sets with different stats, as well as a few more weapons. I guess I never really built my glimmer back up after Iron Banner, lol. That shit cost me about 50 grand between two characters.

Yeah once you get 3 characters going, glimmer starts to become a problem... I mean raid gear, more weapons from raids nightfalls and engrams. Just gets pretty pricy:P
-
Exactly! I used to always have at least 20k on me at all times. Now I sit around 2-5k. I even dropped down to 31 glimmer the other day. My buddies laughed when I couldn't even afford a cheap emblem or shader, lol.

I remember when i first started my warlock and titan, after I got them to 20 I found I had barely any of the class mats to upgrade thier exotic and gear to hit 29. So I spent a ton of glimmer on buying rare chests from the vanguard armour vendor. they aren't cheap as they cost like 800 each... gives 3-4 mats though so was worth it i guess haha

Interesting. I went perhaps an easier route, and passed all of my armor emblems earned on my warlocks to my upcoming hunter. This way, instead of deleting multiple blues on my warlocks for more useless hydronic essence, I quickly stacked up on needed saphire wire. Yeah, buying all of those from Rahool would drain the bank fast :/

Well I did engrams also... Just engrams alone weren't giving me the 75 mats I needed alone lol.

Ahh, I see. Yeah, I hovered around the 26-27 rank a couple days. Was at least enough to run normal raid, lol. Didn't want to spend too many materials on "non-level 30 gear". Fortunately IB came a few days after my Hunter hit level 20 (26-27 with gear on), so I got my gloves and boots, then got the chest the next day in the Raid. Quickest level 30 I've had, for sure. The Warlocks took much, much longer.
