Explain why its right Xbox gets less DLC
So. Price is the same but less content for DLC. PS users get more extra content for same price.
Seriously. Someone explain why I am getting less for the same. Seems sketchy Bungie.
Discount the Xbox DLC. What you are doing is reprehensible.
I can see some guns being exclusive, but when a game comes out with so little in the way of content in the first place, that shortchanging me as a consumer makes me kind of hate you guys at Bungie. Please tell me why my money isn't getting the same value as PS owners. What the hell did I do to you?
Edit. This isn't a PS vs MS debate. This is I want full access for my money. I didn't negotiate the stupid exclusive content BS, and frankly think its a damn dumb idea to consistently screw the players. Buying DLC I won't have full access to for A YEAR?!?? What the hell, does Activision think this is, fractional reserve gaming? Give me 100% of what is available for DLC or charge me according to the AMOUNT of content I will have available to play. Or, discount PS users DLC and consider the exclusive timed content Sony paid for the cost of the difference. They could have easily said DLC cheaper over here thanks to our spending for you. But no.

I get that Sony paid extra for timed exclusivity. But I don't GAF. That's a crap way to treat HALF of gaming. I don't support nor buy my gaming gear based on having my content before a Sony user. Why would I want them to have less than I? That's a dick move and I'm not with it.
My solution, I will buy the DLC later than I had wanted. My money is now a timed exclusive to my wallet, and in a year it will be released with the DLC in its entirety. Enough Xbox users do the same, and I bet they never crap on us again. Or the PS users. Kind of with the gamers union idea. Screw big business tactics. We can become big consumer real quick....

because Sony paid money for the development of exclusive content that will eventually be free for users of the other console that did not pay for it. This content may not exist at all if Sony had not done so. Please, learn.

We don't. They are getting something in addition. We both get the exact same dlc. Then, after we both get the same dlc, sony gets an a few additional things. As a bonus. Because of a marketing deal between them and activision. You are choosing to look at it in the way that will make it seem the most 'unfair'. That is childish. It is whining. It is coveting. But most of all, it's your own problem, not theirs, deal with it and cry in a corner. Meanwhile, once their deal runs out in less than a year, I will celebrate getting a ton of new content that I didn't have before. Yay new content.

Exclusives exist, the reasons to this have been repeatedly dumbed down to be understood by people on your level. So quite asking and complaining, you are just making yourself look childish.

This is the first major exclusive that playstation have gotten for a long time... Xbox usually offer exclusive content/early access to most of the major titles since next gen came out really

6 RespuestasThis extra content is not something we paid for. It is a gift from Sony and Bungie to us as PS owners. Xbox just gets the base content so you are getting what you paid for, you are just not getting a gift along with it. Sorry but it's true.

Xbox users aren't paying the same for less content. Playstation users are paying the same for the same content. However, the ps users are getting a bunch of freebies. We aren't actually paying for it. The duration of the exclusivity is weird though. It'll be fine for players who jump in later next year, but for those who were at the bleeding edge of progression will see no benefit from the outdated content, once it is released. I mean, it'll be more strikes for the playlist... But uh, I guess that's good. I actually cringe when it's dust palace, that one is annoying.

Simple, it's a business. Sony dished out the funds for exclusive content while MS did not. I believe MS went for exclusive ( or early content than Sony) for Cod AW Frankly it's out of our control.

Simple. It's business. People can't stretch their minds outside of the small sphere of their own knowledge - otherwise they would realize something very simple and plain: Bungie is a business, not just a maker of games. That means they will cater to the facets of their business that will generate the best gains, not just in income but in reputation. Those who cry about a lack of XBox content compared to Playstation are clearly unaware of how business works. It's not Bungie's fault you don't have the same content as an XBox player when compared to a Playstation player - it is Microsoft's fault. They didn't want to pay the price to gain something unique for their customers. Playstation did. They saw an opportunity to forge a dualisticly profitable relationship with Bungie and jumped at it. That's not to say Microsoft would have been able to get the same content, as that is likely limited by terms of contract. It does, however, mean that Microsoft could have done something to get their community unique game elements as well. The counter to any crybaby argument is simply: Microsoft didn't attempt to secure rights to content, they didn't forge a better relationship and because of that - those of us (yes me included) on XBox don't have the same breadth of content. It's business people. Acquisitions, partnership, contracts. It's not complicated and it makes perfect sense. I may not like that I have less content - but I fully understand and accept the reasons. It is a business. Period.

I really dont agree with the YEAR exclusive. and I agree that you should get the same shit for the same price. but I can't help be feel happy only because of the "exclusives war" on last gen and gen before. I think the year dlc is absolutely bs

4 RespuestasI do agree with you that the price should be less for Xbox players based on the notion that we are paying for a Ferrari but only getting a Pinto. Apparently this is how the gaming industry works and I think it stinks. I wouldn't mind if it was only a month wait for the content like they do with COD but a year seems excessive. So while I do agree with you, I fear there is nothing we can do about it other than not buy / play the game.... but I think it's safe to say that's just not going to happen.

2 RespuestasAs a fellow Xbox one user I really don't agree with you that much. Yeah it would be cool to have the bonuses they do but it really doesn't matter for me. They bought the destiny themed ps4 of course they get extra. Just as I have the cod Xbox so I got extra stuff on there. It really just sounds like a complaint with lack of content. If so just don't play it if you don't like it. Simple as that.
