Pulse Rifle = Worst Primary?
I don't hear a lot about pulse rifles, Besides Red Death.
In my experience, it's the most awkward weapon to be consistently good with.
We always hear about autos, hand cannons and scout rifles, but not too much talk about pulse rifles.
Am I sensing a trend? Is it just me?

Been a long time coming. The upcoming weapons patch, along with Bungie's stats clearly show that pulse rifles are the least favourite weapon and also most underpowered.
I've been kicking ass the oversoul edict. It's actually one of the exceptions. With the buff, this gun will rule the crucible and arc burn nightfalls

I have 2 bad seed downs and a super pov vlo. Not feeling bad seed, although they have good perks. One has full auto, the other has headseeker. I wish i had one with both.

My issue is the damage seems lower than scouy rifles overall, and missing with a pulse is more punishing than with a scout.
Scout rifles seem better than pulse rifles in every way.

I actually just picked up a random legendary, things got huge impact for a pulse rifle. Obviously the juju is awesome for trash mob control.

Until level 20 they're my favorite weapons, but then it just drops off for me and i typically swap it out for a scout rifle for pve. Auto Rifles just dominate pvp in general soooo....

1 RespuestaPulses just don't have the necessary impact to make them relevant. The only pulse I Have ever seen that might be useful was the Crucible one being sold. It is Three Little Words. The impact on that pulse rifle is probably 10x better than any other pulse. But, you are sacrificing rate of fire.

I don't like ARs with HRF and crap impact either. I would love to give up some rate of fire on juju in return for more impact. Hand cannons are the way to go! Sure suros, shadow price or voc are fun to throw in the mix but it's red hand ix all day for me!

1 RespuestaHigh rate of fire low impact pulse rifles are weird. You're pretty much spraying like an auto rifle so I don't see why you just use one of those instead. Low rate of fire high impact pulse rifles are really good though. Three Little Words can kill in two bursts if every headshot lands. These types of pulse rifles really reward timing and accuracy, which is what pulses are about, IMO.

5 RespuestasYou have to be accurate with pulse rifles thats why I like them. I have red death maxed and it's one of my favourite exotics and I have 15 of them. Auto rifles are the worst weapons in this game for sure.

People who were good at halo and miss br's are the ppl that use pulse rifles if you know what your doin you put those spray kids to bed

I enjoy pulse rifles. It's what I mainly use. There are bad ones but using a pulse rifle is a preference and depending on how you play. -Sh3
