I'm sick and tired of people complaining about how OP bladedancer hunters are when the more than likely know nothing about how hard it is to play it. We have the longest health recovery time, the worst melee, and the 2nd worst super. The only real advantage we have is blink and even then we're not the only ones with it (When we really should be). Our arc blade defence was nerfed by 75% so we can't run into a crowd of two or more without freaking out about where the other person is, go up against someone with an invective, or someone with with their super. I'm not saying give us all of our armor back but at least some of it. We don't stand a chance against most supers without it.

8 RespuestasEditado por Reclaimer: 5/5/2015 5:16:55 PMNo. I'm a Gunslinger. I play for practicality and precision, since I always use a Scout Rifle and Sniper Rifle. I live for the perfect shot, and distance. However, when Iron Banner comes around, and I need that extra little crutch to help me stomach all the Thorn/FL, I switch to Blade Dancer. Close quarters are inevitable, and Blink + Blink Strike makes it a damned breeze. Every time I used Arc Blade, I'd get at least 3 kills with it. Gutted medals just fly out of nowhere, because people just try to shotgun me while I'm at full health with 1000000000000 defensive buffs. Then I heal and zip-zop-zoobity-bop to the next target. It takes 20 years for me to run outta BD, too. It lasts so damned long sometimes, and I'm always able to squeeze out one last kill with it before it disengages. I don't even need a shotty to feel comfortable in close quarters because of blink strike. You say it sucks, but you've obviously never used Backstab + the perk that heals you. And don't get me started on the nade with a million-mile range. The Arcbolt practically says "Everyone within 30 feet of me is either dead or one-shot. DEAL WITH IT." I'm not saying Blade Dancer is OP. It's borderline, but not quite there. But it's way, way easier to use than all other subclasses, especially Gunslinger. I've played all 6, and the only one that makes me feel like a prick is Blade Dancer. I ultimately prefer Gunslinger because of my playing style of marksmanship suits it better, but Blade Dancer is a class unrivaled by no class other than Voidwalker in terms of aggressiveness.
The only real advantage we have is blink and even then we're not the only ones with it (When we really should be)
I can understand where you are coming from but your wrong about blink. Blink was created by the warlocks and stolen from the warlocks by the hunters. so all in all if you want to say only one class should have blink it would be the warlocks.
-
I stopped reading when you said the worst melee
-
3 RespuestasCalling BS on this entire post. Blade Dancers are almost unstoppable when Blade Dancing, a Blade Dancer survived my Titan Smash two days ago and killed me afterward.
-
1 RespuestaBladedancer just needs a pve buff to generate the same number of orbs as other supers. Gunslinger is I'm need of a massive buff to golden gun though, worst pve super in the game.
-
The hunter class was meant to be used intelligently. Being stupid with it earns you the title Huntard.
-
Just use bladedancer right before heavy ammo drops and have hungering blade on and thats an easy breaker medal.

Here's a good piece of advice on running arc blade. Everyone is now challenging us with their shotties . Put on razors edge , Sike them out. They are expecting you to run up and get point blank so they can head shot you. Now if your 5-10 meters and throwing a destructive wave at them. They aren't in range to one shot you. Practice. And only use that on people you see who have their shotties out.
-
Lol, this isn't even remotely true. Bladedancers can regenerate health with EACH kill while using their super, they can turn invisible from almost all of their abilities, they have the combination of speed AND armor which gives you even greater use of shotguns in the crucible, they can use blink (and oh no they freaking shouldn't be the only ones who can use it, that's bullshit and you know it), and they have the most widespread usability throughout PvE AND PvP as they are very versatile in the crucible and are used to make both raids and most strikes easier. And those are just SOME of the thins that you hunters take for granted.

2 RespuestasRead the lore nub. Hunters shouldn't have blink before warlocks ever. Warlocks taught hunters.
-
Quit complaining I run gunslinger because it's more effective • its a OHK • hits across map • with combustion and keyhole you can kill a titan in his bubble from the outside
-
7 RespuestasAgreed man I've noticed that people don't really run from the bladedancer Anymore they'll challenge it with their felwinters lie, full auto shotgun, or TLW. It was nice back when you could get multiple kills without getting shut down from 2 melees
-
If you read the grimore cards and one of the warlock gauntlets it talks about how the warlocks taught the hunters how to blink so really hunters shouldn't b able to

Hunters learned that from Locks. If anyone's keeping Blink it's going to the masters who taught it to you. Know your Grim, know your place.

4 Respuestasyeah that nerf really killed is in PVE. You can barely kill a major at this point without getting meleed to death
-
BD and GG is way to squishy now compared to all other supers. Wish there was an exotic item that would make up for it. I would gladly trade it in for mask of third man or AS helmet.
-
I played my titan for iron banner and oh my god how is shoulder charge even allowed? I got iron embrace done in one game.
-
This community is so full of hunter hatred, they would never admit that FoH and nova bomb are the easiest to use supers with the highest protection.
-
11 RespuestasAll supers can be countered with other supers... You sohoot a lock mid nova bomb with golden gun he dies, hit a titan bubble with nova bomb its gone.

8 RespuestasThe nerf was needed. I main a hunter in the crucible. And i would say it is good as it is now. I think it's 25% damage resistance now, and used to be 75% maybe? (Correct me if I'm wrong).. But still you can easily kill the whole team with one super. Jump, hide, swing.. Just try to avoid incoming bullets! Easy as that. Arcblade is a super that require some skills to use if you want to get a lot of kills with it. It doesn't need more damage resistance at all. It is perfectly fine as it is!

Editado por lickwid elite: 5/5/2015 4:36:31 PMAs i have finally got round to making 1 of each character... i have been able to test how powerfull and effective each super is in PVE. For me the FOH and nova bomb are the best for dishing out damage, disposing of multiple enemies with a single blow. WOD and self res are very usefull for helping your fireteams.
IMO....WOD + saint-14 + shotgun = best super combo
Then we get to the hunter.... arc blade used to be a good super for clearing enemies (even though its one at a time) now its not worth using. Unless theres a handfull of weak enemies and you have hungerblade on! I personally only use this when i want to go invisible for longer. (What a waste) Then theres golden gun... kills the weakest of enemies in 1 shot... but thats about it. My legendary weapons do more damage so i only use GG for oracles (very very rarely) To sum up hunters supers are pants in PVE Supprisingly the hunters super is still quite effective in PVP so a buff in PVE should balance it out!

3 RespuestasBladedancer is the worst super in pve sure, but in pvp those mfers are invincible. I can't tell you how many times I unloaded magazines of ammo into a bladedancer and he still killed me. Some of those I was a considerable distance away when I started unloading on him/her too. Bladedancer is ridiculous in pvp as is radiance in pvp. No super should make a player nearly impossible to kill while activated. I think for both of these a slight boost is acceptable but, 2 or 3 players unloading and the guy still not dying is a bit much.

Guys he's a troll. Quit feeding him.
