Praedyth's Timepiece < hot garbage?
No one ever talks about or uses this raid drop. Is it total garbage?

I never used pulse rifles before I got the timepiece... now i use it in pvp its pretty nasty!

Fatebringer outclasses it in every meaningful way. :^( Pulse Rifles need a global upgrade. I've posted several threads about it in Feedback > Weapons. If you need Arc and don't have Fatebringer, Timepiece is fine. It's decent enough for Oracles and Arc burn NFs. But outside of that... I'd honestly rather have a Super Pox VLO or Fair and Square, in any setting.

Have it maxed, never use it. Impact is God-awful.

Its a beast in pvp. There is no better pulse rifle. It fires fast as you can pull it.

Just got it last night. Not really a pulse rifle guy but it's pretty good. I prefer fate bringer myself so I won't be using it for arc burn.

It's semi-rare so you won't see it much anyway. It's an amazing pulse rifle IF you are good at precision gunfights. I win 90 of the time using this regardless of what the enemy is using. If I'm too close a last word or fusion will crap in my cereal but medium this thing is stupid good. Pulse rifles in general are good in pvp where damage is what it is. Pve there's definitely better choices. They are good for people that enjoy a versatile option for gun fights. There's other gun types that are better for close range cluster f&** maps, which I cannot stand. I have certain friends that do TERRIBLE if they play on a map where they can't just shotgun/last word spam/fusion/auto bullet hose/melee cluster punch f**# everyone. As soon as it's a larger map with more precision gun battles, they complain. These guys didn't play halo......

It's alright, it shoots through the black shields that knights throw up. I did the Thorn bounty *again* and used that as my primary just so so could wreck the "Major" knights easily.

Used it in Nightfall when it had Arc Burn since i didnt have a Fatebringer. Pretty good in PvP as well.

If u need arc burn for a primary and don't have fatebringer it is a viable alternative. The ROF is great and stability is nice but to be honest I would rather use VoC in the raid and everything else unless it's a nightfall with burn on

Its okay. Still a pulse rifle. Better than Epilogue, that thing is hot garbage for sure.

In my opinion it's probably the only pulse rifle worth using. The stability and rate of fire are amazing. The passive perks on it and the fact that it's arc damage are superb. It's pretty dope in PVE but in PVP it's a beast!!
