Bungie, xb1 and ps4 pay $60 for an equal game, yet ps4 has anther strike mission and gun. Ps4 also has more exclusive events, even though xb1 payed the same amount for destiny. The dark below dlc, gives ps4 yet ANOTHER strike mission that, sadly, Xbox 1 does not. Even though both console groups pay $20 (or $35 for season pass) yet one console gets cut short. To me, this isn't exclusives. This is ripping off one console, and favoring another. I can see one console getting DLC maybe a month later, but a console not getting a part of the dlc they payed the same amount for?! That's ridiculous. Bungie, I get yall don't like microsoft, but the point behind ripping off a whole console community is just not right.

Editado por SilverSmurf: 11/19/2014 1:07:48 PMOh God, another one of these posts. Don't like it = don't buy it (you known what you are getting in advance)
-
Bungie isn't ripping xbox user off, Sony is
-
Why don't you think about it in the terms of PS getting something extra ? The xbox game is full and not missing anything, but PS gets extra free stuff. Happens all the time, like xbox getting legends in fifa etc
-
It's one strike kid. Game isn't even that good anyway.
-
Not true, just checked and my Xbox is still in good condition. No rips anywhere.
-
They are not ripping off microsoft, sony paid for the exclusives for the first year get over it

12 RespuestasIf we weren't getting the content eventually, I'd probably feel like I was getting ripped off. As we do get it it eventually, and as Bungie made it clear before release that PS users would get timed exclusives, I don't feel like I'm getting ripped off at all. If it helps calm your nerd rage, just imagine that the extra strikes and what not don't form part of the paid DLC and are free bonuses that PS users get before us Xbox users.

18 RespuestasI disagree and here's why; Bungie are a big company, owned by Activision - the BIGGEST company in gaming. Sony offered Bungie a sum of money to guarantee some exclusive content for the first year of the game lifecycle, you know hoping to draw in a few more sales of PS4 console in this early stage of console generation and providing extra incentive to buy that version. Let's for one minute imagine that the money Sony gave to Bungie can be attributed to the development cost of the extra content? Who paid for it then? Did everyone pay for it and therefore are entitled to it? Or did Sony pay for it and therefore have the rights to the extra content first? When talking about exclusive dlc it's a grey area. Ultimately money talks man and that's obviously caused a little segmentation between PS owners and MS owners. But you have been assured that you will receive it, even if a year later, it's coming. Plus, Tomb Raider 2 is XBONE exclusive; how do Xbox One owners feel about that? Again, grey area.

2 RespuestasOP obviously doesn't understand how exclusive content works for cross platform games
-
1 RespuestaWell, I think this hole exclusive content thing sucks for all players. Same thing with Tomb Raider; it's Xbox exclusive at least for a year. What do you want to do as a Playstation player? Buy an other console?
-
1 RespuestaYou are wrong PS4 paid more for Destiny than Xbox 1 its just the players did not pay more rather Sony Paid it for them
-
1 RespuestaAdd Activision to the "Agree" section. That's who is really the problem, they were the ones that got bought out.
-
1 RespuestaI voted no, if you said activision is have said yes... For some reason console exclusive games eg last of us doesn't bother me But dlc and extra content is really harsh

15 RespuestasWhere is the option for Microsoft not wanting to foot the bill for you? This exclusivity was likely up to the highest bidder, and nothing more. Gamers are paying the same money for the same content, and it is as simple as that. Sony sponsors content for their consumers - an option that was available to whichever company wanted to pay do the most to offset development costs. Remember, at one time Destiny was supposed to be Microsoft exclusive - and this was well after Microsoft and Bungie parted ways. If the full exclusivity was walked away from, it sounds like Microsoft simply did not want to invest in the future of this game. They are the ones that made that decision for you - and only they can tell you why. To blame Bungie for that is simply not looking at the whole picture.
-
3 RespuestasI agree yet disagree. I agree it's seemingly unfair that we don't don't get the same content as PS and by extension we didn't pay for the same game as PS. Yet I disagree, since when the content is released in Fall 2015, well have something to enjoy while the P players won't have anything.

Hear this: Bungie is corrupted. It's about money now. They Bait & switched us, they're Activisions newest Bitch, and they're favoring Playstation for money they get for giving Playstation Advertising rights & Exclusive content. (I play on PS, and i know this). I can practically Guarantee that at least 1 or 2 Environments that we saw in Teasers years ago (Reef Social Area, Old Chicago) will be permanently cut from Destiny, and used in Destiny 2. Or at least sold to us for $35. Least that's what i think.

old news. stfu meg

This topic still >.>

2 RespuestasIt's only exclusive for a year. Plus I think the only exclusive that is worthwhile is the Hawkmoon.
-
If you support it your ripping yourself off....your choice
-
While I don't go nuts about it, I do think it's pretty unfair. I'm not getting what I paid for because of what electronic box I prefer.
-
Through basic economic depreciation there is the potential for a case here. This coupled with the false advertising made by the trailers, and much weaker product that came at launch, it wouldn't suppose me if it came up.
-
1 RespuestaThe bigger ripoff is £35 versus $35. £35 = $54.67 as of 07:34 today.

Editado por Alpha74: 11/19/2014 8:15:18 AMI really hope this guy gets a PS4 for Christmas, with a nice shiny new copy of Destiny and Even the season pass! It could have been worse it could have been a pure exclusive then you wouldn't know that you purchased a game (yes you bought it) that didn't get all the same content. Doesn't anyone every read all the pre launch info? If you say you did well then you made a decision that it wasn't that big a deal or you wouldn't have bothered. Btw it's paid not payed ! (I do hate it when people bring the average IQ of a lobby down!)
-
It doesn't matter quit you whining we will get the extra stuff in a year it's timed exclusive content it's not bungies choice play station just paid to have some exclusive content for a limited time destiny will be going for ten years who knows mabe the next game we will get timed exclusives
