OMG the nightfall is impossible solo
Has anyone completed it yet ?? What did they do to this update???? It's silly hard! Laughable

Really? Oh no. But seriously just find some people here on the forums, it'll make the nightfall much easier. Besides this community is (mostly) great, just today I did the nightfall with a complete stranger, but we talked and we enjoy each other's company. Apologies for the lecture, but destiny is a social game, so find some people to pay with.

7 Respuestasit is actually very 'soloable', however u do need to take your time and most importantly - bring ARC damage weapons (even a blue maxed Arc damage weapon is better than its Legendary counterpart w/o Arc) ..as for the strategy: Part 1.) once you've deployed your 'dinklebot', run to the right side of the area (right from where you entered it), there's a 'safe spot' next to the wagons (or whatever those big crates are) Part 2.) as you enter the area with the Walker, run to the very left side, there is a little building with those shields on the roof, a Scout/Sniper rifle and just kill the Walker (he can still one shot you with the cannon hit, so be careful and retreat if he fires at you). after u killed him, carefully take down all the adds in the area before u proceed Part 3.) best i've found is to keep hiding in the room on the left side of the entry gate, from there just sniper rifle/heavy, again, with Arc damage hope this helps

welll on the mesh part there is a area where the enemies wont run past and it has good cover. I will be running with the vision of confluence patience and time and steel oracle

You just got to take your time sniper rifles with arc will be your best friend

I did it solo with all 3 classes just hide in the hive cave in the first part. Use the train cart and the cave to snipe from. The secant part with the spider snipe from the pipe to the right of the door u come in from. Then the last part hide in the room to the left of the door u come in from don't go down the stairs snipe from the back.

1 RespuestaNoticed an issue. Suppressor grenades did nothing to Captains and Wizards. Shields were unaffected. Captain teleported immediately after getting smacked with a grenade. At one point, it even gave me the "resist" words. How is that even possible? Suppressor grenades have always worked great in PVE for me. On this Nightfall they did absolutely nothing. I was dumbfounded. Am I missing something here?

I beat it solo, took me about 45 minutes. You just have to take it slow

6 RespuestasYes, it is definitely possible. Solo'd it earlier (got a crappy purple scout rifle). It is certainly more challenging than it used to be. Enemy health seems to have been scaled up. Arc damage from enemy sources also seem to inflict more punishment. Have to play more cautiously now when you are solo'ing. Good luck.
