Editado por mtwiggz: 11/19/2014 1:36:14 AMSolo'd the Nightfall a bit ago. It's pretty intense, as The Devil's Lair always is solo, as a Nightfall anyways. The only "hiding" spot I take advantage of is the little hut with the stairs to downstairs on the end boss. Not sure if that constitutes as a "glitch" spot or not, but I say it would be quite impossible without it.

20 RespuestasLmao to everyone that solo's it and says it easy. Wait till they get rid of all the hiding spots then let's see how easy it is.

Editado por PMB91184: 11/19/2014 1:21:10 AMI see a lot of people continuously miss the main factor behind most of these Nightfalls; the Burns. For those who are unaware, if a Nightfall or Weekly has Arc Burn, it means that both you and the enemies do more damage with Arc weapons; 300% more damage to be exact. In short, you do 300% more damage than you usually would to all of the enemies in the Nightfall if you use an Arc weapon, grenade or Super. It works both ways though, and since this week you're up against Fallen (who favour Arc weapons) you're going to be taking 300% more damage from Dregs, Shanks, Captains and Vandals. You can rest a little though, as the main boss does Void damage, which isn't modified. This week, give serious thought to guns like Fate Bringer, Praedyth's Timepiece, Thunderlord, Plan C, Patience and Time and perhaps even Found Verdict. Watch out for those stealth Vandals though, as they will melee one shot you due to the Light Switch mod.

1 RespuestaTry using the starter auto rifle it's beast

2 RespuestasSoloed it twice and got two legendary weapons. Woo.
-
Nightfall I would not be able to solo with the different shielded enemies. Soloed the level 28 weekly though. Probably helped that the hard raid today gave me Fatebringer.
-
1 RespuestaShut up Meg.
-
Not impossible just harder. Use the methods other use and use only arc weapons. I didn't solo only cause friends joined me but it was deff not that bad
-
Its called arc burn. Use it.

3 RespuestasJust finished solo and got 5 STRANGE COINS Not worth the effort!!!!!
-
3 RespuestasAre you kidding me? I ran it on my main solo (30 Hunter) without a problem. All maxed out guns. Fate Bringer Patience & Time Deviant Gravity Finished the nightfall and weekly in less than an hour. Wasn't worth it. Exotic helmet for a Titan for the nightfall, 3 blue engrams for the weekly, and the coins of course. Ran both on my 2nd 30 hunter with a buddy, and got an exotic helmet for my hunter for the nightfall, and 2 blue engrams on the weekly with the coins.

I found it quite easy.

4 RespuestasIt's pretty easy if u have all ark weapons

1 RespuestaNot sure if this is serious i didnt really notice much maybe my maxed out fatebringer helped though
-
Datto did

There are decent spots out there to solo it. Some difficulties may appear only on the last boss, since those melee guys can get everywhere in that location. Indeed, I did it with my friends.

I can say that it isn't impossible to solo it's just harder. I've got s couple of observations I found during this weeks nightfall to the previous ones. The Adds were defiantly taking more damage and the weapons cause more damage. I was running a maxed fatebringer and P&T also and arc Swarm. Now having Arc damage weapons makes a huge difference but it didn't make it easier. I found it very frustrating in the early stages as I was taken tonnes of damage from a single shot more then the previous nightfalls. I got destroyed by the shanks they probably hit the hardest. I also run it with a 3 man team twice after and it was considerably different. We downed the fallen walker in about 20 seconds and the final boss in about the same time the scaling was dramatically changed. IMO the scaling is now even more broken then it was before the patch.

5 RespuestasEditado por Twohothardware: 11/18/2014 8:01:02 PMSo stop trying to solo it. I was in a group with a half dozen other invites to go with it within about 5 minutes of posting on Destinylfg.com and Destinylfg.net and we breezed through it so fast it felt like a Tiger Strike with us packing Fatebringers. I don't think it took us 10 minutes.
-
I just did it.
-
Soloed it and got a second Knucklehead Radar!
-
I solo'd and got 8 -blam!-ing energy for my efforts
