OMG the nightfall is impossible solo
Has anyone completed it yet ?? What did they do to this update???? It's silly hard! Laughable

Here is the thing about the Nightfall with arc damage.. Dregs one shot you with melee, at least on my lvl 29 Titan they do, stay away from them and watch for the snipers and you should be fine.

They made it hard? I didn't notice. I've soloed every nightfall since week 2 and it's just as easy as the first time for me. And I've done it on all 3 classes.

every week I seem to do the impossible (ie solo the weekly nightfall) these threads are almost as good as the xur crying threads that come up every week. 103/200 forum tears collected.

2 RespuestasDid it in 20-30 minutes with a buddy on my Hunter and Titan. Waaaay easy Almost did it first try solo with Warlock. Got Sepiks to about 15% health, get shot by massive amounts of sperm-bullets and die.... So close!!!! But yea its [u]definetely[/u] possible solo. You just cant make mistakes, and if you plan on making one, you better have Sunsinger or a buddy to revive you. My mistake was i used Radiance about 2 minutes before. Didnt recharge in time.... I shouldve just toasted some marshmellows, pitched a tent, and camped in a corner like a boy scout.....oh well, round 2 here i come

Loadout: Maxed vision of confluence Maxed ice breaker and 260 P&T Maxed arc zombie Apocalypse As a hunter I just went invisible until I got to the refinery. I sniped everyone from the catwalk. Focus on the snipers on the far catwalk first. Then bust out the VOC for that wizard. Once clear and dinklebot -blam!-s you by tripping the alarm run to the area with the green crystals and the two oil tankers. From there you can hide behind the tanks and pick off the lower level ads with VOC. Make sure you stay against the left wall and take cover as soon as you get hit. Then jump down into the ditch and poke your head out. You can snipe the two vandal snipers and the invisible sniper on the catwalks. From there you can also snipe the captains. You can also use the zombie for the captains but that leaves you more exposed. Three waves later go invisible and run to the spider tank thing. Go to the left as soon as you enter that environment and jump up on the building. NOT THE ONE WHERE THE CAPTAIN SPAWNS. from there use voc to shoot the spiders legs and when he reveals his crit spot blast away with P&T. Once he blows up go invisible and run up to the sepiks prime door. Kill the ads and hide in the left back room. You can see through the window and snipe away at him. Once you're out of sniper bullets use a synth or equip icebreaker to regen ammo. Lay waste with zombie while you regen sniper ammo. Rinse repeat. Make sure you take cover as soon as you get hit. You don't want to get that far and get sent to space. Patience and time are your friends, the gun and in real life. Good skill.

Did with my Titan, Warlock and Hunter all solo with I think 3 wipes. Not impossible, take your time and control your engagements.

Yes even the weekly was a challenge but, go slow and take your time. It can be done took myself and another player about an hour give or take.

Got it done in 30 mins. Only real trouble was the waves at the beginning.

It can be done. I used Timepiece as primary/ switched VoC for shanks. Final Boss Sniper with Arc Burn Maxed. Thunderlord as a heavy. Honestly is relatively easy. Just be cautious and cover. The enemy has arc burn on you too and that's why makes it hard. But with good arc weapons you can also kill them easily.

Probably their intention. I've seen a number of solo walkthrough tutorial/guides for each strike. Since Nightfall is supposed to be a harder version of the weekly I suspect they're none too pleased with the number of people able to do these solo. So while the patch notes say they've scaled down the difficulty for 3 person groups, the unspoken part of that is likely that the difficulty scales up for loners.

10 RespuestasI think what made this hard was the captains. Captains in general are always too hard. You hit them once and they teleport to regenerate shield. You move to get continued shot on them, they fire a flury of guided laser shots and keep teleporting. Its time consuming to take them out and if you get greedy for a second it ends up fatal. Thats the only hard part. The rest is just time consuming.
