People that dont stick togeather inside for cleanse. People who throw grenades on Mars People who move while they have the relic in the middle causing a wipe. People who bump the relic holder in the middle causing a wipe. People who don't jump out the middle when you say to. Causes you to jump too late and get caught in mid air when people get teleported and you fall out of the bubble and die.

I think you are wrong. I have never been on a team that has killed Atheon quickly where the relic holder wastes all of time vengeance putting a bubble up in the middle. It prevents the use of rocket launchers, and prevents the Relic Wielder using his super on Atheon, which does nearly 20k damage per hit. Not to mention the time wasted of the whole team jumping to and from the middle platform. Not to mention the risk of having you all stand together. Atheon can only target one person at a time if you are spread out. He will never kill people if you keep on your toes. Having the full fireteam unloading into him drops his health considerably quicker than all being trapped on a platform where you can all be hit at once, and can all accidentally fall off. Also the Relic Wielder should simply just wait by the portal exit as the other 2 finish off the oracles. Holding up the cleanse bubble as they walk through the portal, means they are mark free as soon as they exit.

When you kill the gatekeeper, make sure you run up to where he died for a shield boost. XD

I hate any atheon strat that isnt the middle platform Unless were talking about a full team of gjallarhorn middle strat is best Anything that isnt middle strat: -atheon moves all the time -get killed by supplicants -get killed by atheon -fall of just as easy as in middle strat -shield super damage? Here's a basic tip, SHUT UP AND LET PEOPLE RUN VOG. I Cant stand when I get into a VOG lobby with someone who feels they are an elitist and just wont stop trying to bark orders. I understand that some people still are VOG noobs, but mfg, enough is enough sometimes. I have left countless runs because of people like that.

Why are people still insisting on using the stupid "hide in the bubble" technique? Relic holder can do huge damage with his super and since he randomly teleports people now it does not matter where everyone is.

People who don't listen to common sense, or orders when I am the most senior/experienced VoG runner on the team. People on hard mode who get themselves killed because that just had to put that last round into an enemy instead of ducking for cover. People who insist on taking a 7 minute break right after jump puzzle because they were the first one down and want to make the team wait. People who still can't do the jump puzzle... Come on people, are we still messing this up? People who are issued an order, agree to said order, then completely disregard it. That's all I can think about right now. Oh and before I get hate about the word order. Listen I get it, destiny is supposed to be for friends, it's supposed to be fun. Unfortunately, fun doesn't always get shit done. I want to clear the Hard raid in under two hours, if that means I need to tell people what the -blam!- to do, then so be it. In every military organization there has always been a commander to give orders for the success of the mission.

And don't throw grenades or use nova supers with Damage over Time at Atheon during Vengence!!! He moves around trying to get out of the damage areas. Just use weapons only and he'll stand perfectly still while you light him up. This makes it easy for rockets and snipers to get guaranteed hits center mass.

Also: - Atheon (Hard Mode more than Normal): 3 people sitting on each sync plate at the beginning so that when you get detained you will be already be opening the portals. - Atheon: If you are not the relic holder, shoot and throw grenades when on Venus/Green/Future. The first Oracle doesn't spawn for a few seconds, plus one person can usually solo the first Oracle anyway. There is no use for stupid deaths that can be avoided. - Atheon: STAND ON TOP OF THE SYNC PLATE PILLARS. No one needs to die from the Supplicants. - Atheon: Depending on your levels, have someone roaming and killing the Supplicants while everyone else is killing Atheon. I can't count how many times we have taken Atheon's health down just to have people die from the roaming Supplicants. - Atheon: Relic holder should call out the time; tell people to clear out at 5 seconds but remain there until everyone is away. The relic holder has a lot of responsibility and silly deaths should not happen because you are too quick to leave the platform. - Atheon: USE SNIPERS AND LMGs if you are inside the bubble. I do not want to see ANYONE using a primary unless you have already run through your Special and Heavy ammo for that specific round. - All: Communicate. Don't needlessly talk when it's not appropriate. - All: Have fun!

1) FIVE, FOUR, THREE, TWO, ONE - JUMP! Just -blam!-ing jump at 5 for the love of -blam!-, IF he has lower than 5% and youve got 5 (and 30's) you can nuke him and go ham. But most of the times jump at 5. Please? 2) Use heavy ammo, preferably rockets for 90% of the raid 3) Dont -blam!-ing nudge the relic user. Please dont. Again. DONT - NUDGE - THE RELIC USER 4) During atheons fight, after the first times of vengeance you should ALWAYS have your super up. Your buble helps. So use weapons of light and blessing of light. at 30, atheons dmg against oracles on hardmode with an epilogue is 64 damage, with WoL you;ll generally dmg 80-84. . Blessing of light will help the relic user endure more hits so thats awsome for relic users. 5) Use rockets 6) Relic user cleanses when the last two oracles spawn (you have your super up at the last 3 oracles, so u might aswell shoot it at the oracle) at FINAL 2, cleanse and go mid 7) Stay positive. No one wants a nancy in their fireteam,. 8) Always move up when teleport team and your shooting oracles, bassicly go stairs, wait cleanse, cleanse mid, and cleanse at stairs again. 9) When venus, shoot a rocket or atleast throw a grenade vs ads 10) when mars, shoot the ads that furthest away from the group of 3. Shielding your relic user from damage for a good enough moment for him to take that one out. Sorry if these wur more than 1, i just really hope these tips are helpfull. because if others know, itll cut my raiding time down. (eventhough i do enjoy raiding, sometimes things just take to long.
