A salute to all relic holding Hero's.
You know who you are. We're the ones who teleport to Venus, launch 2 void rockets down the stairs, throw a grenade for kicks. Only to turn around and see 2 lvl 28, 29 scrubs standing there screaming like a 6 year old who pissed his pants "I'm not touching the relic". So we pick it up only to be 10 seconds behind on the oracles.
But somehow we get it done, only to comeback through to a mine field on the other side.
So let's all crack open our favorite beverage, and raise our glass to the victories we've provided, at take this Sunday November the 9th as holiday.

It's a f*c king shield made from a Gorgon's face that you use to make the Vex your b*tch. Why wouldn't you learn how to use it? Seriously, though. Cheers.

Yup, the vault update made it so the scrubs who shouldn't even be on hard mode are exposed.

It's worse when the circle for picking it up is 90%, then some noob ends up with it after you clearly stated you would pick it up, and dies with it. On Mars...

When i first did the raid i didnt want to touch it. Didnt know the buttons. 2nd raid i did however i said i knew how to use it for giggles and when i got it i learned it pretty quickly. Its very easy for me only time i die is if the damn things glitch and regenerate health

my team forced me to be relic holder...told me I needed to learn :) trial by fire for my first raid lol

I had to carry so badly one time that as the relic holder, I also took up taking out the oracles with both the melee and the super shot

I tried using it once, I failed. It isn't because I don't know how to use it, but because i'm lvl 25.

1 RespuestaIdk why people are scared of the relic it's so much fun to use. I had 1 kid sounded like he was 8 ish ( had a high girly voice) grabbed the relic and asked how to use it.... And the 2 guys in the portal with him were already going black and the kid never touched any of the vex downstairs.... Atheon was almost dead. Atheon could of died from 1 more rocket but this kid had to hold it....

I know a guy like that. his name is whatkatane or something like that. On my first Raid, I jumped in during the oracles, and knew exactly what to do.

2 RespuestasPersonally I dont mind at all grabbing the relic and leading the charge, but... I have really only been rewarded with mostly weapons from the raid. I have one piece of raid armor. So if someone that has great armor goes in, they should grab the relic. My Corrective measure will annihilate the oracles, then my countless other fully upgraded weapons will inflict a hurt'n on atheon. The relic holder has the easiest job actually (Once you know how to use it). So[b] SALUTE [/b]to all you bad ass gun toting guardians that dish out the heat on praetorians, supplicants, goblins, oracles, and ATHEON! But most importantly [b]SALUTE [/b]to those who work together as a team.
