bungie doesnt want you to get gear, they want you on that perpetual hamster wheel chaseing and chasing.
btw , Xur is not random, deej confirmed that on a stream a few weeks back. no i dont care if you believe me and no i dont care enough to dig the link out.
edit: for the butthurt fanboys are consistently missing the point, Xur consistently showing repeated rewards are a product of either
A: a sympton of a pathetically small pool of exotic items
or
B: bungie shoving a specific progression path down our throats

Then I finally got last exotic for hunter today mask of the third eye which I have been trying to get for weeks and get a exotic head engram to try to get the last warlock head peice and it give me another mask of the third eye. How I hate master rahuh.
