First tiger I did in ages some guy joined when nearly finished final boss; got ice breaker fuucck them.

Cryptarch and faction level, crucible and weekly strikes give good legendaries. Also grinding the Rocketyard gives tons of stuff. I have now: legendary hand cannon, scout rifle x2, Thunderlord, Zombie Apocalypse 2x, RPG launcher x2 and my beloved Invective (earned, lol) which makes a good Fallen, Hive and PvP killer. There should only be a very few people who only got shit. But RNG guaranties there are some. That's maybe why Xur and the factions sell them.

Seems it comes in bunches. I felt the same as well. Over the last few weeks, I've had rares upgraded to legendaries and have, through nightfall and weeklys and vault, gotten exotics in seemingly quick fashion. I went from no legendary, buying 3 exotics from xur (chestpiece, patience and time, and just recently truth (just because) to all lengendary and 8 exotics with only one being a repeat. Bought patience and time and got a drop from nightfall for it days later. Odds catch up it seems.

Since I posted that, I've actually had one legendary engram drop in a tiger strike. Unfortunately, it was leg armor for another class >_>. However, it's good to know that my account isn't bugged from getting legendary engrams XD Also, I started doing the raid with some people I met randomly at the Tower (how we met is another story, lol). This is my first time ever doing it, and I currently have a checkpoint at the gatekeepers. Before that point, I've been given the raid warlock boots, which I've heard some people are having a lot of trouble receiving. Also, I got the raid warlock bond and the exotic auto rifle Hard Light both from the same chest. I almost cried. (LOL). It seems like what you said about "bunching" could possibly be true. I've certainly had moments of high rewards and moments of low as well.

Oh yeah....I swore I was never going to get one or anything for that matter and was tagged an outcast for a negative for the first month and a half...lol. Now I that it happens more frequently through nightfall and weeklys, I can't keep up with upgrading them. Doesn't feel near as futile now.

Lol, what you said about being an outcast for being negative reminded me of my own story which happened last week. I play destiny by myself more than with friends or just other people. So, after we hadn't played together in a while, I brought my friend in to play some destiny with me. The night started off with him getting a legendary engram from the postmaster after first logging in (I learned that Bungie did this on purpose to some players). I was not happy about that. Then, we did the weekly heroic. He was rewarded a legendary engram. I was even more mad about that. We then did a tiger strike. He was rewarded with a legendary engram. At this point, I was pissed beyond all hell. All of those legendary engrams gave him armor and strong weapons, by the way. Then, we go back to the tower where he decoded all of his engrams. It just so happened that he leveled up the cryptarch. So, he went and got his reward. Another legendary engram. He decoded it and received a legendary heavy weapon. At THIS point, I was ready to throw my XB1 across the room. However, I decided to give the game one more chance. I was about to level up my cryptarch, so I decided to do that. After a few strikes, I finally leveled him up. I went to collect my reward. I got a legendary head armor engram. Now, I don't need a head armor piece as I've already got an exotic for it at the moment, but maybe it would be cool. So I decode it. It was a head armor piece for a different class. I then said goodbye to my friend, shut off my XB1, and gave up on life. I figured that instead of being a negative influence on others, I gave them more luck while I still didn't get any luck. I laid on my bed and pondered this. I hope you enjoyed my story. :D

Lol. I thought of giving up as well as I saw the same thing repeatedly. I stuck with it and oddly enough tides turned. While the game is ridiculously repetitive, at least finaly getting drops worth it made it more bearable. I was stuck on lvl 26 for must have been 3 weeks without a single drop and had to purchace my first legendary. Nightfalls and weeklys are the key while tiger strike drops are much more rare. I too played more solo and it wasn't until i joined a clan 3 weeks ago to do the fireteam oriented content did I see a big change.

Yeah, I've definitely figured that out by doing the raid. I've gotten more gear I can actually use than in the last 5 weeks of not doing it. Maybe I should join a clan. That would probably be a much better way of going about doing fire team orientated parts of the game.
