So I just got AW annnnnnnnnnnd.....
Coming from a loyal COD guy man AW just feels different..... its not like the past COD games..... how does this tie into destiny u may ask? Destiny is such a step above mechanic wise its crazy.... (shooting.. moving...melee) destiny has really set the bar....and this is coming from a COD fanboy loyalist and all that... I put the game down to watch walking dead just thought I would give you guys the heads up.... Be happy there is a Destiny, yeah I know it has its problems, yeah I know it has its glitches, but its the best FPS out right now.....
PS ... no emotion or bias was felt in writing this OP.... just a rational emotionless view on playing AW for an hour or so

But I bet a few months down the road after everyone has beaten the story and unlocked everything in the MP they will say the same thing about it. And then the servers will be filled with a bunch of 12 yr old kids screaming and saying they have pro skills but yet only have a kdr of 1 or less and anybody who actually has skills and has a kdr of 5 or more in a game is just hacking or camping. I got a feeling that the COD/Destiny rivalry will replace the rivalry with BF

Editado por Pieville: 11/3/2014 3:20:35 PMAs hesitant as I was to, I decided to buy Advanced Warfare today and that's only because some shop was selling it $30 cheaper than EBGames and from the 5 or so hours I played it, I've got to say; it's a pretty darn good game. It doesn't quite hit the mark of MW2 or Black Ops but it does play out quite nicely. Now don't get me wrong, I'm in no way a CoD fanboy, I thought Ghosts was shit, Black Ops 2 was shit (the zombies was garbage), MW3 was alright but still shit plus I've never bought a CoD game first week let alone first day, in fact I'm missing a few of them because they're shit. Back to original point, Advanced Warfare feels like a step in the right direction for CoD, it's true that some guns feel a little overpowered but I tend to play Hardcore so that's irrelevant for me, the double jump/exo suit thing is interesting, not groundbreaking or a major game changer but for CoD, it does help to add some variety to the maps as it allows for multiple ways to get across and there's a 'classic' playlist so you can play without it all. Now the maps, they are good, like really good, some of the best maps in recent times. They're fresh, exciting and look stunning. There's still an odd map or two which doesn't feel as good as the rest but they're still not bad. Pretty much what I'm trying to say (and it's surprising to me) is that I actually find this CoD game.. fun and I am sure that this game will keep me entertained for quite a while or at least until The Master Chief Collection is out. So don't hate on Advanced Warfare just because it's CoD because believe me, I wish I could but they actually did something good and I applaud them, hopefully in 3 years time, when it's their turn to release another CoD, it's as well-made as Advanced Warfare because let's face it, the next CoD will probably be a shit fest 'cause you know.. it's CoD.

11 RespuestasCool? I will never understand why cod receives so much hate. It's fun for what it is, and it has never advertised itself misleadingly like Destiny. You know you can always expect some mindless fun on COD for the most part. It isn't some all evil thing like a lot of gamers pretend it is. Just buy and play what you enjoy and leave it at that. No need to post here.

I am not particularly interested in multiplayer. I should note that I haven't played a COD game since black ops 1 which was the only reason I tried this COD to see if the series had improved. Nope, they just tried to rip off titanfall this time around. I doubt I will put it in my console again so I will give it back to my brother. (Who beat the campaign in even less time than I did). I became disdained with the COD series after MW2. When the games started to represent everything that was wrong with the gaming industry. Micro transactions EVERYTHING. Annualized content meaning that most of the games amount to little more than expansion packs of the game before them. It's not terrible, but it isn't memorable either.

Very cool. A lot of people dont take into account Destiny's polish and just how well the system plays. Very bad also. A lot of people well get bored with the new CoD and bring their bitching right back to the forums. I was hoping we'd be done with the "nerf this, change that, you owe me everything i want" mentality.

That's why I didn't buy it this year, I've bought every CoD since CoD:4 I was a big fanboy I loved them all the last few I wasn't that big on it and after seeing the first glimpse of detail for CoD:AW I said no. That's it. I don't want to fall victim to the franchise this year I will has my own opinion this time and I'm glad I didn't get it. It looks terrible people will be done with it by December.

Especially after being reminded of how fantastic the halo series was. How did bungie flip flop so hard? Also, cod investors probably figured that the series needed to compete with titanfall and it seems like they peed on the core in the process. Not that I would know, but, speculation is fun. Pretty sure business minded individuals at bungie led to the dismantling of destiny, too. Economists lack the ability for artistic evaluation.
