5 RespuestasIdk about you but when I imagined this game, when I daydreamed about this game I imagined being able to explore HUGE areas like a HUGE jungle on Venus and HUGE rolling sand dunes on mars with random mining ship drops at random levels. I imagined more Earth than just Russia... The moon is pretty much alright though you can't really make that any bigger.

8 RespuestasIt isn't, plain and simple. It's enjoyable, it's lots of fun with friends, but[i] in no way[/i] is it what they said it would be. It was well worth the money, but it did not meet expectations. The storyline is nonexistent, the lore is hidden somewhere completely inaccessible in the game, the armor and shader choices are lacking, the worlds are not completely explorable (and are, in fact, pretty restricted and even linear), and the raid is a bug-ridden mess that they refuse to comment on. Enjoy it. Have fun with it. Just don't pretend it's something it's not.

5 RespuestasI think Joe Staten overstated how 'the world can be explored at its entirety, that the scenery will be playable and whatnot,' but I imagine that the technology and design team decided that the level streaming could be tough to set up with multiple open areas all meeting up at one junction. Imagine going across the river behind the Steppes / Mothyards on Cosmodrome and having to wait to load that section, move a little further towards the Skywatch (and the carrier graveyard) and having to wait to load that section,) and then scaling up to Skywatch to have that section load. Then again, I thought the team did well with level streaming with Shattered Coast - Ishtar Cliffs - Waking Ruins - The Citadel - Ember Caves and back on Venus and The Barrens - The Hollows - Buried City - The Drift - Scablands and back on Mars, I imagine that they could have come up with a similar solution to allow numerous areas. Who knows, maybe there could be more areas to discover in the future...
