***NERF FUSION RIFLES***
I don't usually get this upset over games, but fusion rifles are absolute bull and I hate that you guys are doing absolutely NOTHING about it! When you nerfed the Mythoclast, you actually had the nerve to nerf the range of SHOTGUNS, but you completely ignored fusion rifles! What the hell? <- Right there I stopped writing because my Rumble match started. I am a level 30 that plays Destiny religiously, and I consider myself pretty good, especially in Rumble and Skirmish. I just set my damn controller down because a level 13 is dominating Rumble with a god damn fusion rifle. I am sick and tired of every troll and scrub being able to pick up a fusion rifle and instantly outgun everyone that actually has skill. It's complete BS! You guys had the nerve to nerf SHOTGUNS (the ones you actually have to get really close up to one-shot with), but you completely ignored FUSION rifles, which one-shot from mid range and sometimes long range. FIX THIS. I've been singing praise about this damn game and defending you guys against all of the people criticizing it, but I may join them if you guys don't start directing your attention to these broken ass weapons. FIX FUSION RIFLES RIGHT -blam!-ING NOW! Everyone - literally EVERYONE - I play with on Destiny is pissed about the same exact thing. FIX THEM! PVP is no fun when every noob can pick up a fusion rifle and one-shot everyone.

It's not fun to be shut down like that; same goes for shotguns. You have to take into account, though, the disadvantages of using a fusion rifle. For one, they make a very distinctive noise when you charge and fire, making your fusion-induced presence known to anyone with good audio. Then, you have the high inherit recoil of the weapon type, making it difficult to track moving targets. I also suspect your connotation of being able to kill people at long range to be an exaggeration to an extent, due to the small range and absurd recoil of fusion rifles. You'd have to be shooting a wounded target to pull off some professional maneuver as such. With all this in mind, the fusion rifle is well suited for players who are able to predict enemy movement and are able to react to a firefight before it even begins. This is generally a good skill to adapt when using any other type of weapon, but fusion rifles are built to assume that specific role. I think certain specific fusion rifles could go with a little tweaking, but generally speaking, the current state of fusion rifles is just fine, so long as you're able to identify the strengths and weaknesses of using one over a different weapon class, and are prepared for it. TL;DR: no nerf pls pocket infinity is okay i guess

fusion rifles are pretty darned hard to use effectively tbh.. you have to take into account the charge time and the fact that your opponent can move / dodge while you charge the rifle.... yes I die to fusion rifles on occasion when it is wielded by a player who knows how to use them... but I die way more often to ARs and Sniper rifles tbh...

I have no problem with a level 13 owning crucible. If you're good then you're good. Good players own with a variety of weapons. I see that in Destiny.

5 RespuestasYou haven't figured out the strategy to beat fusion rifles? It's pretty simple and their first burst will miss or do partial damage. If you can't kill them before the 2nd charge then that's your issue. Fusion rifles only get me when I rush into them or from behind. A fusion rifle should almost always lose a 1 on 1 gun battle. Instead of asking for nerfs (which have been far too prevalent and hard hitting), learn the meta game.

Nerf every weapon. They do too much damage in the crucible. Nerf armour cause they protect too much in the crucible. Nerf all players skills and talents cause they are too powerful in the crucible. Dude, -blam!- off.

3 RespuestasAs a fusion rifle user I must say, it's easy to beat them. The charge rate alone is enough time for you to blast me with a shotgun or hand cannon. Plus, they don't have amazing range. Up close, yes they will obliterate you. When you hear the charge, evade.

Instead of nerfing them they should reduce the spawn times of special ammo and treat them more like heavy ammo. Too many players are using fusion rifles and shotguns as a crutch.
