The only reason the 'new' content is being unlocked in the game in December is for Bungievison to get their hands on more money from Christmas sales. The Dark Below will most probably be advertised over Christmas, with Bungie pulling out the figures like '3.2 million people play it per day' It should of been out this month with a butt load of content to keep the loyal player base happy and interested.
