Warlock Melee Is Broken
Warlock melee [b]not abilities[/b] has much larger range than all the other classes.
It's also a semi AOE, it hits in a [b]area[/b] in front and to the sides of the user rather than just a direction. The area in which the attack takes effect only effects a single person at a given time, but that doesn't take away from the fact that it is a AOE (area of effect).
The warlock melee is much easier to land hits with. Not only that, the warlock melee has zero travel time, while the blink strike must lunge towards the opponent.
Guaranteeing that in a melee battle, not only will the warlock have the easiest time aiming their melee attack. Their melee is guaranteed to hit first.
This makes it [b]extremely[/b] easy to use, and instead of it requiring skill, people just spam it.
I even see people spam their melee after they have shot a bullet, even if the enemy is already dead, just in case. A warlock even once told me, that he calls his melee, his second shotgun.
[b]Base[/b] Warlock melee: longer range + AOE + no travel time = unbalanced
Plain and simple.
Edit 1: Another problem the [b]base[/b] warlock melee is even more effective and reliable than even the blink strike for the hunter. Which is an [b]ability[/b] with a [b]cooldown[/b].
That is a serious problem that needs to be addressed.

I agree. The range is a bit much. I lose most melee fight with a fully charged storm fist against Warlock even though I bring in the first hit. Well it could always be due to lag

7 RespuestasIt is not an issue, it is how bungie balanced the game. They wanted warlocks to be close range blinking guardians. Hunters were made to be stealthy and Titan were made to absorb bullets and be tanks. It's how bungie balanced the game. It was not an accident that the melee range is so long. It's just how bungie balanced it and I have no problems with that. #warlock master race

3 RespuestasIt's not broken it's perfect titans and hunters are bad ass in crucible as well. The arc blade hunter can cover a very large area going from room to room slicing and dicing. My warlock gets a much smaller area with its super. So it's balanced pretty dam well. Please stop complaining about the races they are all badass and unique and can fit many styles of play. Stop the nerfing !!!!!
