Push idle Guardians to their death in strikes.
Today is another "Walking Tall" bounty day.
If you see someone who is idle during the strike, give them a couple of minutes.
If they don't move after that grace period - push them off a cliff or into a mob. Hell, boost them into a wall with your sparrow.
Do not allow this to continue.
I'm grinding strikes right now because, hey, I like strikes and blue engrams. If I see you idle, you are going to die.

While I also hate people going idle rather than using skill to complete this bounty. I had what I guess I could say is the "opposite" happen to me. I joined a fireteam that was a guardian short and started killing as soon as I was able. Little did I know, that one member had decided to ride their sparrow through the strike and upon seeing me decided to boost me into a wall, only to dance on my corpse after. Now it's one thing if I messed up and died, I can live with that. But this, this was just sad; so I just reported (though it will prob do nothing, and only because i'd waste time loading and queuing.) Don't be an inconsiderate douche, and don't go idle either.

3 RespuestasKey point here is the 'give em a minute' line. I'm a father. When I play, sometimes I have to rush away to take my little one "potty." Sometimes there's a crash and I have to go check or someone starts screaming about something an I have to intervene. I play with other dad's, so they understand but for others of you, you could be with a guy that rushed off and will come back in two clicks of his heels to kick some tail. Just sayin. I'm not worried about me. I'm a team player and when I have to rush off I make sure to repay on the next go round

2 RespuestasThe only real solution (and and easy one at that) is for Bungie to quick doing "random" loot drops. A player showing 0 kills and 0 assists at the end of the Strike should get NOTHING. No experience, no Vanguard marks, no loot drops....nothing. WTF is so hard about that? I did two Strikes last night, and in both cases, one guy was Idle...only to be there at the end dancing around like a Jack!%%

Gotta love the idiots who feel they have to go idle to beat a strike without dying. It's really not difficult to beat a level 24 strike with 0 deaths. They must either be really bad at the game or love watching an idle screen for 20 minutes

Just go to darkness room and kills yourself, it couses a wipe and making everyone start at that checkpoint even the idlers and it gives them a death

Heh... I pushed some dumb-a** off a cliff earlier today for AFKing, and he got real pi**ed off. Kept trying to betray me all game. I died a couple times, but thankfully I'd already gotten all the Vanguard bounties for the day, so no big deal. Unlike that loser, I got "Walking Tall" legit; solo'd the Heroic Weekly strike on Level 26. Got myself the bounty, some Strange Coins, and some engrams.

8 RespuestasHow about Bungie create a program for Strike's, if you are idle, or simply AFC for, say, 5 minute's. AUTO BOOT !!! Maybe, just for Strike's, if you hang around a certain area too long. BOOT !!! They have done such a thing for PvP. There are several option's for such a thing. I considered getting rid of Walkign Tall, but people could just be farming Vanguard Rep and Mark's.

1 RespuestaSuper simple. die on purpose in a darkness zone and force the guy in there, if still no help push him into the adds. I had this guy trying to pull that crap on nexus, after we dragged him in there me and my friend both blocked his path ( he was trying to turn back ) and got all 3 of us killed. effectively causing him to quit we got a new teammate and finished. Not that i couldn't full on solo it's just hella fun being the bigger troll lmao

Lvl 28 warlock and two lvl 27-28 Hunters working our way to Phogoth's lair. Me (the warlock) and one teammate are making our way through the strike tearing things up (voidwalker and gunslinger), meanwhile our third player is hanging back. We get to Phogoth and he spends the entire boss fight in the previous room causing the adds to spawn. We didn't notice at first due to focusing on clearing the intial adds before we turning our attention to Phogoth. After a short while I notice there were an unusual number of enemies in the room and looks over to see the jackass is standing in the room. I figured maybe he couldn't get out since Hive Wizards and Knights were blocking the door. Clears the area with my Nova Bomb and he still won't come out, causing the adds to continue to spawn. My teammate and I died multiple times while trying to kill Phogoth and the adds that ended up swarming us and were perched on the ledges (no cover could protect us). Eventually my teammate rage quit but I stuck it out. After my umpteenth death I messaged him to get out the damn room. No response. Eventually a new guy joins and helps me to make quick work of Phogoth. After the strike the douchebag messages me and apologizes, saying he was trying to complete the Walking Tall bounty. Are you -blam!-ing kidding me !?!? Do Devils Lair if you don't want do die. He wasn't idle and took shots at Phogoth whenever he had the chance. Still, we could've finished the strike alot soon if he was a better teamplayer

Funnily enough, I keep going into strikes with every intention of playing properly. Just getting my marks and maybe some engrams. Then I get put with sparrow killers (or at least attempting sparrow killers) and "huggers" (people that use you as a meat shield and get in front of your rockets), it keeps happening. At that point I become very idle, not idle enough to get removed for inactivity, but not helpful either. The closest I get to firing a shot is shouting "pew, pew, pew" . I won't even revive them.

Just have the other two fireteam members report them for inactivity and they'll receive the boot

From hearing the stories on here and my friends about random strike players I seem to get luck with my match making. Only had Idle players a handful of times and one time the guy chucked us a message to apologise cause his mobile rang with a important call

5 RespuestasI was texting, guy was so paranoid thinking that I was AFK'ing that he would run back and start punching me whenever I would go idle for like ten secs to reply. Gimme a break man.
