I believe Bungie has firmly stated that there will be trading at some point. They also have been hinting at gambling for a long while.

not only that, you guys realized that they even not helps us to increase our glimmer more than 25000. this is highly a chance that bungie dont want us to have more glimmer when trading systems implemented or the economy will be worse

It should get better, you could trade your weapons for glimmer, use glimmer to gamble for weapons, trade weapons for weapons. I don't understand how people think this is bad.
