Just calling it, if you go into the summoning pits and look out into the skybox just beyond Phogoth you'll see a giant round opening surrounded by webs, not unlike the den of a funnel web spider. Below in the chasm are more webs, then we have the leaked raid gear with a set of helmets featuring multiple glowing eyes that resemble spider eyes.
Logical conclusion, we're getting a giant arachnid boss.

1 RespuestaEditado por adamsmith12: 11/2/2014 11:03:56 AMi do agree with that a sub boss is going to be a spider as yes there are webs but also there are eggs in the second mission of the moon. but to all of you saying that crota is the final raid boss and that its just a knight:if you do some research then you will find out that there are 3 main bosses and crota is not one of them and the final boss is something called the overwatcher or something, i cant remember exactly but its basically an over glorified wizard

Yep there is a hive queen in the center of the moon popping baby larvae that will grow into thralls.

Oh my the necrobump.....this was even before Dark Below.

10 RespuestasEditado por SamboBaggins91: 11/18/2014 4:02:51 PMI've seen a few people complaining about Bungie giving out "useless sparrows," but consider this for a moment. There have been a lot of rumors about the new raid in The Dark Below having a part where guardians have to outrun an ogre on their sparrows. The new sparrows are only available to people who purchased The Dark Below expansion. Why would Bungie give out new sparrows to those people? Because the rumors are true! At least in part. Guardians, I think we're gonna need those sparrows in the new raid. I bet you 25,000 glimmer! With their upgraded abilities and speed, they'd be perfect for outrunning ogres! Are you excited for the new raid? I was before, but this discovery made me even more so!

I'm down with it. Atheon looks pretty lame, so I'm all for a giant bug.

1 RespuestaGiant Spider? Better bring bigger guns.

The hive tunnel on earth has spider webs all over the walls.

But aren't the Fallen 'supposed' to be arachnids? I said 'supposed', I'm using air quotations with my fingers.

30 RespuestasAh, just had another thought.... (I know dangerous right?), You go down to the Summoning Pits right? It's "very hard", Phogarth is chained up, and you start to fight him as usual. Then, an ear piercing shriek stops all combatants. Ghost: By the Light! What is that? *Cinematic * A gigantic leg has now appeared from the cliffside, and a Thrall/Knight ginormous spider climbs up and shrieks again. Phogarth is then scooped up in one arm and he attempts to use eye lasers on the Thrall/Knight, and the boss basically bites off Phogarth's head off and tosses the body back into the pit. It then turns to you. *Insert Shriek again* Guardian: It's a bug, and it's gonna get squashed. *Cocks gun* Ghost: Technically, Arachnids aren't bugs. *Guardian looks at Ghost* *Implied shut up* Boss Attacks Typical Ground Smash attack if you get close Shriek to summon high level Thralls (Exploders and Regulars) Also Sword Knights After taking too much damage, might crawl in corner and cast webbing across the battlefield to slow movement speed. It then stampedes like an elephant and runs you over. Randomly lays Wizards that will cast their Darkness blasts around as well Ah, of course, can regenerate new limbs after blasting off legs. How to kill it Is weak toward fire type weapons, must sever legs before blasting Face. Repeat. Ah, as a nasty surprise, if hit with Void/Arc type weapons, it will recover health. BEHOLD THE CHALLENGE!
