I think there should be a trade system

Editado por WarforgeValkyrie: 10/27/2014 9:30:52 PMTrading with limitations would help. An exotic for an exotic, legendary for legendary. Make raid gear non trade compatible. Nothing below that. There are those of us who have multiple same item exotics or legendaries (ex. I know someone who has 4 mythoclasts- though I know that's raid gear) or high level pieces that aren't even from our class. If that could be swapped, it would be nice. I have other characters, but not everyone has time for that and you can't say seeing a legendary drop and getting Hunter gear when you're a Titan isn't really frustrating. I agree that using currency for exchanges would devalue the game, but switching a legendary Warlock helmet for the legendary Hunter one you should have gotten doesn't hurt anyone. Ideally though, cross class drops wouldn't happen in the first place.

8 RespuestasNope, Id rather not encounter lvl 20s with the vex mythoclast. The system would be too easily exploitable just like any other game with a trade system. Im willing to bet 90% of the people who have vex now didn't get it legitimately, just imagine if a trade system was implemented.

Editado por Rex084: 10/27/2014 8:41:53 PMIn what way would you yourself implement a trading system into this game that would deter abuse? I have seen many people ask for this, but no one has given any plausible implementation plans that would cause this type of system to be free from all ways that it could be taken advantage of to the detriment of the game. Not saying there isn't a way, mind you, just saying no one has voiced a good way to roll it out so that it couldn't be exploited in a negative fashion. Economies are notoriously finicky to maintain. And adding an economy could ruin the experience if not handled properly.

im all for it

3 RespuestasNo I'm sure we know what happened to borderlands when they introduced trading Yay implement trade so we can get a duplication glitch and make the game 100x easier Soo... NEIN!
-
casual are saying No Love it :)
-
Just be happy there's a vault for all your characters
-
No thank you!

1 RespuestaI think you should've able to trade everything but exotics, raid and event rewards
-
7 RespuestasI very strongly disagree. Entirely, utterly. There are literally no amount of words I could type here to describe how shortsighted this request is, or explain how many ways this would negatively impact the entire experience or Destiny.
-
No way.

4 RespuestasAn in game trading system would make all the end game content invalid. No one would want to do the raid if they could trade for the stuff from it. People cry about Vex Mythoclast now, imagine how bad it would be if people just traded for the stuff instead try earn it. Yes it would be great get the stuff from hard mode raid that i would like to have but it is far more rewarding to earn my gear then trade for it
-
Yeah no way.
-
4 RespuestasSorry. Not a fan.

In game trading is not a good Idea, simply because it would make doing the raid null and void. Yes the raid is a chore to do, imagine if all the people who pushed atheon off the edge and got 3-5 vex mythoclast and tons of raid gear, going around trading them away. You wopuld have full clans running around with it instead of just a bunch of people across the consoles. I would love it especially since people get copies of raid gear all the time lol.
-
No, just....no.
-
2 RespuestasThe whole reason I abandoned the Borderlands franchise is because of this. People in the masses trading and duping weapons of mass destruction.
-
2 RespuestasI just got a warlock dead orbit helmet this morning for reaching lvl 5. I only play hunter, so it would have been nice to trade it for a hunter item. But IDC since I got some shards out of it
-
No.....
-
Nope. You thought loot cave was bad before, that would have most scrubs camping every spawn available. Most of us probably wouldnt be able to find a single enemy in the wild.

2 RespuestasEditado por Gubzs: 10/27/2014 3:36:52 PMNo. Trade ruins games. It makes all the grinding you hate doing be required of you even more, and makes loot feel entirely "not special". If you don't understand that, you haven't played enough games with both trade and loot to understand. As an 8+ year player of world of warcraft and an ex-player of runescape for 6+ years I can tell you that I understand the ramifications of trade entirely, and I do not approve. Trade is responsible for: -low drop rates -lower drop rates -almost nonexistent drop rates -and gold farming Do you want Destiny to become a game where 9/10 players have to buy the equipment they want, because the drop rates are so low? Because it will happen.

1 RespuestaWith the way the loot system works i think trading would be an excellent addition to the game
-
I think there should be a trading system. Maybe no so much guns, but maybe with people who have excess materials. Like say a friend of your had too many Spirit Blooms, and you had none. One trade later and you can upgrade a gun or armor!
-
I wonder if the fools that cry about Xur selling things are the same people wanting a trade system, because that would just be stupid.

3 Respuestasi dont see anything wrong with trading as long as your do it in a process. trading is already done in the game. you just trade with the npc. some of you have not noticed it but is there. 3 types of trading materials gear weapons basic materials can work just fine. some people farm and others dont have the time. No trading system has ever ruined a game. gear can be traded to friend but see people will exploit that and become friends only to trade and then un-friend after the trade. so how do you fix this attribute. increase glimmer amount and add a high tax on the trade. exotic can become bound to a person but only if its a class item. un class items are free to trade. weapons well do not need a trade because every weapon is in the game at an npc. exotics weapons you can get with work and yes work is in there. dishonest people ruin the game trade. The most craziest and player based trading system in an MMO, EVE online has been around for years and they are going strong way after year 10. There is a system in place to hand out exotic weapons. yeah that player at the bottom got an exotic but perhaps they did a feat and finally reach their ticker count and bam it drops. You do find an exotic after you kill someone during a pvp. they found an exotic. it says. many people just miss the message. sometimes we the player only see that one picture and think this picture is the whole story when it is just a fraction of it. I do real good in pvp on my up side and down side i get tones of engrams as well as legendary and exotic weapons.

horrible, the loot system is already a welfare program...quit ruining the game with these ideas.
