I bring the guy who isn't that good because he's a friend in my group of friends that plays Destiny. We're not going to leave him out just because he sucks with the relic, we'll have him open the portal instead. It's not just one guy either, it's usually 3 depending on who's online. Me and one other friend are the only ones at level 29, 1 friend at 28, and everyone else is 27-. Running the raid (on normal at least) was fine because we had it set up so there wouldn't be any issues with someone being too weak to handle their part. Now there's a chance that the wrong people will get teleported/not teleported and we wipe. Of course we can just get on the forums and grab some better players, but I don't like the idea of just telling my friends they can no longer play the raid with us because Bungie wanted to change up our positions. It may be fine for you, but that's messed up to me. Sure, they can get better and level up, but my point is everything was fine until this update takes place. Is it really necessary? I don't think so.
