No Child Left Behind Generation is Destroying Online Gaming.
I have made a few posts regarding the non stop incessant whining from the community complaining that the game is unfair or unbalanced when they encountered people with the VM. It's sad that they bought a game that advertised role playing progression elements that really made it's selling points focused on becoming legendary through hard work and dedication to getting the best gear the game had to offer.
The VM was the one and only weapon in the game that felt like an exotic, and rightfully so you had to take on Bungie's most challenging content to obtain it, and there was no guarantee it would drop. I don't understand where all of these new generation of gamers are coming from with all the make all guns fair and square or we will bitch non-stop. You really don't want any gun to stand out in a game about striving to obtain better equipment?
If you want every gun to be balanced, and no level differences why in the hell are you playing Destiny, and then complaining until you ruin it for those of us who loved the PVE RPG elements? Isn't there enough games out there that are focused 100 percent on competitive multiplayer where everyone has all the same guns at their disposal? Why can't you play them rather than whine and bitch until you turn Destiny into Halo with Supers?
It's the new generation of gamers all these kid's growing up in the no child left behind programs. They don't want to hear that some people might have worked to obtain advantages that they don't yet have. They all want to be winners, it's sad when hard work gets met with incessant bitching by your fellow community.
P>S> To all posting it was barely nerfed, I have video footage showing that not only was %34 too extreme it was also a lie from Bungie. It now does over 50 percent less damage including headshots. I'm not the only one who has noticed this view reddit they have tons of footage there as well.

I have been saying this since the dawn of "auto aim/aim assist" that is standard in shooters these days. Gotta make games playable for everyone so we can make the most cheddah, eh? Let's take all skill out of the game and aim for them! Joe, you are a genius. Even the kindergarten kids can play our FPS now!

19 RespuestasIt's not a no child left behind reason that I wanted the mythoclast nerfed, it's the fact that you should only be able to be the best in a game because of your skill at that moment. No previous achievement should give you a boost in pvp. It's should be an equal fight, not a fight where one person has an op weapon and one doesn't.

If you're going to have PvP multiplayer in your game, it should be balanced. If the Vex Mythoclast was the best weapon in the game, everybody would use it. Who wants to play a game where 90% of the community uses the same weapon? Bungie obviously care about weapon balance, because they have already began to change the weapons. They have buffs in the pipeline, too. It doesn't seem to have been their intention to have a few weapons massively outclassing everything else. Weapons not balancing is fine in PvE and why a nerf in PvP only would have been a better solution. I say that as someone who has the Mythoclast. It was OP and needed to be nerfed, but the nerf handed to it was pretty excessive. Beating hard content in PvE should not allow you to have an auto win gun for PvP.

I am so glad that there are still people that realize that there is no need to make an easy game easier. Idiots just don't seem to grasp the concept that destiny is not going to be a "run and gun" kind of game in every situation they are thrown into. I've watched several friends play crucible matches and bitch about the scout rifle being 100% useless while repeatedly running up to enemies within point blank range while they are holding a shotgun. To an extent, not everything needs to be "balanced", you just need to find a strategy that works for you. I wish all of these new generation gamers could go back in time and experience games like EverQuest. You could bet your ass that there were people that bitched and moaned about the difficulty of some of EverQuest's content, but the developers basically told them all to deal with it as they kept releasing content that was just as difficult (if not moreso). So please just learn how the game is supposed to be played before complaining that you should be on the same level as someone who puts honest time into the game and deserves what they have been rewarded with.

Guardians can expect new bounties such as sweep 100 dust piles. Remove two dust piles at once. Sweep water in drain. For a special we can have feather dusters oh wait thats for blade dancer super charge.

1 RespuestaI disagree. When you say everybody, pls can you provide some evidence or don't include me in that group. Before and after I got the Mytho, my KD ratio was greater than 1 and usually 2. The Mytho definitely allowed me to stay close to a 2 or above. That is not my point or concern. What I am concerned with is simply the fact that the Gun was once a mighty weapon, something I really looked forward to using in PvE and PvP. Even When I did not have it I wanted it.

This is like the stupid argument that video games makes kids want to shoot up schools or w/e. Well guess what! a 12 year old kid cant go out and buy an M rated game from a store - they cant sell it to them - i have been there before and without an ADULT you are shit out of luck. I know the game is rated T - which kinda allows them to purchase it if they are 13 or older, but everyone behaves the same way with FPS. COD is the same - this gun is op this gun isn't blah blah blah. We have heard it before a million times. They all want more more more and if the direction the developers are going in is not what they want they they will complain. I'm 21 now and wasn't allowed to play M rated games until i turned 17 and could go out and buy them myself. By then i was about ready to get out of the high school and go off to college. I was mature enough to know what i wanted, and how to get it without crying to my parents. I have been playing games for as long as i can remember. I find that now in recent years besides a few standout games quality is dropping game play wise/story wise and graphic fidelity is increasing and since the tech is there people are just plopping out games which look amazing yet play like crap because they can whether it is finished or not!. Destiny plays as amazing as any fps fan could hope and looks gorgeous, sure some weapons are broken now, but from what i have seen they are actually trying to fix the mistakes. Story is lacking, i won't deny that and i don't think the DLC is gonna help the cause at all. I came to terms with that - I pay 60$ for a BASE GAME. I don't think ive seen a game get release that doesn't get patched since the launch of the 360 and ps3. They are all broken, and since the base game is what im buying, i never really complain abou the shit storm that comes with patches. I'm going off on tangents but one last little comment to piss off a lot of people - If developers released a game, put a little disclaimer at the bottom that says "Game is subject to change due to patches" after release then all these silly arguments would be invalid and people complaining would be shot down. I understand where you are coming from. My brother is younger than me and my parents hand him everything and anything he wants. Hes just a spoiled kid. First world problems we just have to deal with unfortunately. But there are self entitled adults out there too. People think just because they are rich they can do whatever they please like park in 4 spots - thats how you get keyed. Anyone with the mindset can be self-entitled, all they really need is a reality check.
