UPDATE 6: Something went wrong with the Hotfix and the nerf was actually bigger so I started a new topic to get some foccused attention to that new bit of information, if you want to check it out here it is [url]http://www.bungie.net/en/Forum/Post/73095222[/url] UPDATE 5 READ : SO I just went and tried the vex myself and it seems bungie doesnt know how to do simple math, today before the patch I did these values below (Vex, I cant say 100% sure on the suros) nooow what Imdoing after the patch is way below advertised on their patch notes, Im dealing base damage 23 and crit 35, same as before the patch class and perks, so either they cant do math or they lied on the patch notes, i believe the later is more accurate Another fella told me he was getting 26 and 39 with the impact upgrade still lower than my prediction with my gun using the stabilize perk on it, I didnt believe at first but he was right.....sad so sad they cant even nerf right. EDIT: Did this with the stability upgrade, with the impact upgrade on the vex you might get more damage but not relevant enough Before Base Damage: Vex: 41 Suros: 30 Crit Damage: Vex: 51, 1.25x Multiplier Suros: 45, 1.50x Multiplier Vex: Base 5 Shots, Crit 4 Shots Suros: Base 7 Shots, Crit 5 Shots After Base Damage: -34% Vex: 27 -2% Suros: 29 Crit Damage: Vex: 41, 1.5x Multiplier Suros: 36, 1.25x Multiplier Vex: Base 8 Shots, Crit 5 Shots Suros: Base 7 Shots, Crit 6 Shots Note*I'm totally sure on the vex, but not on the Suros, lost my suros and cant test the damage on pvp , A friend told me the crit was 45 so im based on that, if im wrong please comment and ill correct things. To Bungie: So for all of us who actually succeeded to play Your game and made it to the end of the -blam!-ing Raid in HARD MODE you gave us the finger and a weapon that basically is a Suros but just uglier? Where is the sense of accomplishment? Don't we all deserve to get a good weapon? The weapon isnt unobtainable!Why this absurd nerf? You just need to play the game and eventually everyone will get it. I get where the nerf idea is coming from, you are going to nerf everything so the vex had to be nerfed aswell but 34%?!?!?! 1/3 of the weapon's damage , some hinted 15%, ok yeah I could live with that but 1/3 damage reduction is too much for me too handle.... To Community: After three days straight without sleeping pulling a Whole team to the end and get slapped by this -blam!-ing community that can only cry and bitch about stuff being way too overpowered or unfair I just FEEL like trashing you but I won't because its pointless, Nowadays communities on forums are ruining games more often then not, if you just got owned in pvp or if you know deep down that you are not good enough just join your friends in a party chat and trash THERE with them don't come here talking about an unbalanced game with no facts to back you up, please guys don't do any more damage to destiny.
