Really auto rifles needed to be nerfed all across the table? Shotguns to? Have you used a auto rifle on nightfalls and in raid? WTF! I can see nerfing the range of them but the dmg and the stability to? Shotguns really? THEY SHOULD BE 1 HIT KILLERS AT CLOSE RANGE! Its a SHOTGUN HELLO! Let me shoot you from about 6 to 8 feet away with a 12 guage and see whats left of you! This is another typical mmo like all the rest NERF BATS FOR CRY BABIES in pvp. Bungie is gonna be no different then Blizzard or any other mmo that has pvp and pve as soon as the pvp cry babies start moaning with hurt vaginas they swoop in like mommy of the year swinging the nerf bats.... I just dont understand why these games cant seperate pve from pvp. Thank god CoD is coming soon...

2 RespuestasI bet if you played the game without reading the patch notes you wouldn't even notice a difference. Yet you see a hotfix and are all up in arms about it. Sad. Wahhhh my 2%. Truly if you were skilled you'd adapt to the changes, not cry because of them. Be a man. Whine-baby.

5 Respuestas
Thank god CoD is coming soon...
Totally agree!!! I hope you and your's gonna move on to the next game and a stable community around Destiny will evolve! Can't wait till the day comes!
-
Why does the ship still look the same
-
pretty sure the "thank god CoD comes out soon" kills everything you complained about.
-
The amount of salt in this thread, man. Wow.
-
I wonder if Activision purposely sabotaged Bungie to an extent that people beg for CoD aka Activisions flagship franchise
-
2 RespuestasActually Bungie will be different from Blizzard. They won't have a game be as successful as WoW.
-
2 RespuestasFYI, CoD has statistically been one the dominant games for nerfing weapons...
-
2 RespuestasCan't really start comparing shotguns to real life when the game is set in a completely alternate reality... Can say the same about games like call of duty when a throwing knife to the toe kills someone and that's supposed to be a close to real life game... Think the nerfs where always going to come but would have rather of seen the weaker guns get buffs rather than te stronger ones getting nurfed
-
Wow.... I'd like to point out that AR's were too strong in PvE, but still, only got a very minor PvE nerf. Shotguns just plain didn't get a PvE nerf at all, just a range reduction. Take one extra step forward, or you know, the exact same distance as before more likely than not, it's only effect was PvP. And then saying "thank god CoD is coming soon" kind of shows that you don't know anything about good games.

Delicious tears

First, auto rifles are on a level playing field now and requires you to strafe if you want to win your battle(like the BR duels in halo). Second, damage on auto rifles has been reduced by 2%. Wow, what a game changer. Third, shotguns still kill in one shot, only difference being that shotguns with certain upgrades are no longer ridiculous slug shotguns(although to be honest shotguns have an effective range of 30 meters, but for game balance it's an understandable nerf). Lastly, the Mythoclast now requires you to place two head shots MINIMUM and then finish them off with three body shots. In other words, if you have a minute amount of skill, the vex nerf won't really effect you. Now play the game and see how much better(or worse) you do when people can no longer kill you from across the map with a SUROS Regime, Vex Mythoclast, or the Copperhead Mk.32(a green shotty that wrecked face in iron banner lol).
-
If you could actually read than you would notice they decreased the maximum range of the shotgun. It will still work fine in close quarters, it just doesn't have ridiculous range anymore. If you weren't retarded and had any sort of comprehension of the game's mechanics or even the slightest idea of balancing than you would also realize why auto rifles needed a nerf. For the record, the patch barely affects PvE.
-
2 RespuestasThey still kill in 1 hit, just not from as far away.
-
3 RespuestasI don't get it, 99% of the times i was killed with an auto rifle, it was a SUROS REGIME, now if the vast majority of people are using one specific gun, and it damn well isn't for the look of it...Then does it not cross your mind that maybe everyone is using it because its easy to get kills... because it is overpowered? How dare they want people to use a variety of guns instead of everyone just using the exact same weapon.
-
I used an auto rifle many times in pvp. Don't see what they were saying that they were op to where bungie needed to nerf them. Every time someone came at me with one, 3 out of 5 times I was mowing them down.
-
Shotguns still work fine at close range. For nightfall use the burn modifiers. Since these are % changes it'll only really affect the the over preforming weapons not the base ones.
-
I wish they didn't mess with pve as well.
-
Although I pretty much agree with everything the update has to offer I don't understand the nerf for shotguns. I myself have only used shotguns a little on my second character but ultimately went back to sniping but shotguns are ment to be a one hit kill up close or da.mn near kill you at mid range long range ican understand shotguns are CQC Class guns. Other than that the entire hot fix is great.
-
Its because of CoD and activision why pve and pvp cant be separated, they want pvp to be the meat of the game and -blam!- everything else.
-
you had me till your last sentence...
-
It hasn't gone live yet though. May not be set in stone
-
22 RespuestasHas anyone ever shot a real shotgun before......cause they are still pretty accurate from mid range. The spread of an actual shotgun really isn't big like they make it in games. I don't think theubshould one but they should still deal good damage. And I disagree with changing stability on auto rifles. The higher quality rifles should be pretty stable.
-
1 RespuestaThey nerfed shotgun damage at MAXIMUM range a.k.a. the damage falloff is more severe than before. Which it should have been from the beginning.
-
5 RespuestasIt seems like you urgently need to call the wahbulance
