you are bad though. Stats can't tell anyone how effective you are at the objective at hand. If you can't work with scrubs to achieve a victory you are a scrub.

But that's wrong. The current modes are either straight up slayer, or slayer with capture bonus, there is no true objective mode besides salvage.

The objective is to eliminate the other team via scoring more points and ultimately reaching the cap before them. In control it takes team work to keep the enemy down and your team's score rising. Skirmish is the same principle without capture points for bonuses. The bottom line, if you are a lone wolf in a team you aren't playing the gametype the way it's supposed to be played. If all you care about is your personal stats in a "team" game you are bad. Play rumble or gtfo and stop whining is what I say. You don't have to carry others but most people aren't that dumb that they need to be carried. It's more of there is one or more guys on X team thinking they are better and -blam!-ing their teammates over by either using them as cannon fodder or just neglecting the objective for selfish reasons.

Except if you're getting more kills than another person and dying less, you're still contributing more than that person, regardless of whether you specifically capture points or defend them. Stats tell pretty much the whole story with slayer modes.

IMO, a player with 20 kills, 0 assists and 10 deaths played better than someone with 30 kills, 10 assists and 30 deaths but has the highest score. The latter player was as detrimental for his team as he was useful because of the points he gave away through his deaths.
