The drop rate is supposed to be low, the idea is not to rely on the random drops.

ive seen 3 legendary engrams since patch. And none from strike playlist and crucible. Even the cryptarch has been giving less chance when you level. ive seen people say theyve done 25 or 50 strikes with no legendary whatsoever. If the drop rate is that bad, theres really bo reason to play strikes anymore other than to get your rare 20 gear. if they were trying to get rid of loot cave farming, they should just remove loots from mobs which are 5 levels below yours.

The chance to just randomly get a legendary from a kill is supposed to be incredibly low. Before the patch the chance to get the item was the same. More legendary engrams dropped but they rarely gave legendary items. The easiest way to get legendary items is ranking up the store. This attitude that drops are the only way to get legendary items is the exact problem pointed out in my first point.

You can get legendaries from faction reps, cheapest being 65 marks which is more than half you can earn in a week. Its not about getting legendaries. But getting the materials needed to get those legendaries upgraded. Plus, i dont want to take two weeks to just get and try outand buy a new legendary weapon just to try it out if and if its going to be any value at all to me. Drops are important. You are still giving time and effort to completing those strikes. Ive gotten more legendaries prepatch. It was frustrating not always getting a legendary from the engram but you had more chances on getting some because you had alot more engrams. Sure take all the loot caves and all the cheap ass farming method. But completing 25 strikes with no legendary engrams doesnt scream broken to you?
