You gotta grind rep like every other person who made it past where your at. It actually doesn't take that long once your focusing on it.

You cannot rely on drops. Level up vanguard by doing patrols and bounties. You get a reward for each level and once you've hit 3 you can buy guns. I think you can buy armor from level 2.

4 RespuestasNo. There is GUARANTEED legendary armor and weapons (level a Faction, Vanguard or Crucible), GUARANTEED exotic armor and weapons (Xûr). So no, it's as easy as ever. I hope to reach rank 2 in New Monarchy today so I can finally replace my rare boots and gloves, and then I'll go on to rank 3 for my Vanquisher VIII

Level a faction amd get a full set if legendary armor. Only guaranteed way to get past level 24.

2 RespuestasRNG is just there for fun. You can't blame it if it gives you shit, that's just how random things work. If you want Legendary stuff, Vendors are your best bet. Getting to rank 2 of the Vanguard takes just a few hours. I got to rank 4 or 5 already within the very first week by capping the 100 marks.

Edit1: after checking out your profile, maybe you should level the vanguard or one of the factions and just buy a legendary armor piece there.. By leveling up everything get a little easier, apart from pvp ^^

if u lvl the vanguard or any other faction to rank 3 u buy the armor u need. simple as that.. i srsly doubt bungie intended for u to lvl up to 29 with gear that drops randomly. Think of every legendary that drops as a bonus, the rest u have to earn by gaining rep.. game is not broken, u are just doing it wrong.

3 RespuestasStop relying on RNG. Vendors are selling stuff. Go buy from them. They wouldn't be in the game if you weren't supposed to buy from them.

You say strikes of all sizes, from what I can tell you can only get legendaries from vanguard tiger, do roughly 4 of those back to back and you should have enough engrams to level up rahool, which increases your rng chances to get legendary. But the simplest solution is just level up vanguard and buy legendaries.

24 was the first big wall I hit, that was before the patch. Then you will hit another at 26. Then you might as well get comfy with 28 until you start getting raid gear.
