So to the babies crying and whining Destiny is dead, Destiny won't make it until '15, all their invisible friends are leaving what is your twist on the actual facts?
Destiny averages 3.2 million players each and every day!
Average playtime is still right around 3 hours a day, even on weekdays, one month after launch.
The average player plays Destiny 1.8 times a day.
The average player has played Destiny 20.9 times.
Over the past three weeks, we’ve had more players online in Destiny than we did during the same span for Halo 3 and Halo: Reach, combined.
This clearly states that those pathetic, miserable losers crying and whining over a video game on these forums represents less then 1% of the actual player base!
EDIT: I must say over 700 post in under 24hrs! Congrats to all those crying and whining babies getting so work up over this thread. Keep your spinning going it's entertaining watching your desperation kick in! Let's hit 1000 kept it up!

12 RespuestasPity the game has no content...

The rest of us are too busy enjoying the game to come here to hate :)

1 RespuestaYour stupid if you actually believe that is the amount of people on in a given day. The fact is that stat is probably distorted beyond belief. Take a class in statistics and find out for yourself.

9 Respuestas
Destiny averages 3.2 million players each and every day!
On four consoles... Not really impressive given there are barely any other aaa games out right now.
Average playtime is still right around 3 hours a day, even on weekdays, one month after launch.
Ok , this one isn't to bad.
The average player plays Destiny 1.8 times a day. The average player has played Destiny 20.9 times.
What so people played for roughly 11 days and then stopped?
Over the past three weeks, we’ve had more players online in Destiny than we did during the same span for Halo 3 and Halo: Reach, combined.
Well they were only on one console.

2 RespuestasWhere is the source for all this info?
-
1 RespuestaI bet they won't post numbers next month ;)
-
1 RespuestaSource on those "stats" ?
-
Not to mention most of the people complaining... Are probably still playing and grinding away at the game eager for the dlc they got on release
-
*checks time spent on destiny* Me: hmmm, 100+ hours... yeah, I need to get outside more
-
Because Bungie would release info that said their game was shit........oh wait no they wouldn't lol
-
The average doesnt say anything about population drop. But i think they addressed that when they said its beating halo 3 and reach combined for those games' respective timelines. I'm glad its doing well.
-
These stats are meaningless.
-
My friend got disconnected 10 times in 5 minutes, it said he had played Destiny 10 times because of it...not a reliable statistic if you ask me.
-
What is with you? Are you implying that since people play the game, it isn't bad? It has flaws. It needs to be fixed or this will not be a profitable 10 years. That is what people are saying. It has potential, but Bungie's not using it. New game modes? Free Raids?! New weapons and awesome events? Nope, just grind in the same modes all day and pour $35 into the game for more stuff. God forbid you get free things to make have fun in the game if you did not buy the DLC. I wish Activision would die already. I know that $35 tag with little as possible is all them

3 RespuestasEditado por TheLastTitan: 10/11/2014 3:21:44 PMThat doesn't mean anything. After CoD BO2 launched over 50% of the Halo 4 player base disappeared. I'm curious to see how Destiny is going to last. Source: http://m.neogaf.com/showthread.php?t=709697

4 RespuestasAs others have undoubtedly pointed out, those numbers don't mean much. There isn't much to play currently apart from Shadow of Mordor (which I got, played for a few days, beat, and now have not much of a reason to go back to it, fun game though) and Alien Isolation (whch I didn't get but again, once you beat it there isn't much of a reason to play it again). The "if you don't like it, you wouldn't be playing it" argument has numerous flaws. The thing with Destiny is that what it does right (shooting mechanics, soundtrack, the sparrow) is just enough to make the game tolerable but its numerous flaws make it very hard to enjoy the game. It's more of a daily chore for people. You log in, do the dailies, try to upgrade your gear to reach a higher level, repeat. Many people do this simply to get what they think they paid for out of Destiny. Some people just treat the game like a mindless way to waste time. I honestly don't understand how anyone enjoys doing the same handful of story missions hundreds of times or strikes with bosses that play identically in practice (shoot them in the critical spot for half an hour until dead). Even if the story was good (which it certainly isn't) people would get really really tired of that. Comparisons with MMO's that have similar grinding don't stack up. WoW has hundreds of quests and when you're grinding it's because you're always working towards something. A new ability, a new mission, a new something. In Destiny you're grinding for the chance that you might get what you need, there's no direction there. lastly, the people here don't make up the majority of the gaming public who doesn't care to go to forums. Your "casual" gamer is probably playing Destiny for the reason I said first, there isn't much else to play. Even playing the game every so often casual players would still have gotten to the soft level cap by now and probably near 26 at least. I'd love to see Destiny's numbers come the holiday season after a bunch of hyped games come out and we'll see who's left in Destiny.

Editado por Vaneera: 10/11/2014 3:21:33 PM3.2 million? Isn't that what WoW's subscription base has dwindled down to? Shots fired Activision!

1 RespuestaEver think that the guardians that come on the forums and complain are doing so because they cant be at home fueling the destiny addiction?

15 RespuestasPlaying is not the same as liking. There aren't any other big games out right now, just wait...

3 hours aint enough fo shit

I like those statistics :)

4 RespuestasBragging about Destiny having more players in the same time span as Halo 3 and Reach. As if that means anything when Destiny is on 4 times as many platforms as they were.
-
1 Respuesta"This account has not played Destiny." Do not feed the trolls people.
-
2 RespuestasYeah but Destiny doesn't have any major competition yet. Wait until MCC and AW comes out. Destiny population while drop dramatically.

1 RespuestaMr. Burrfoot, I think you ended up if the wrong timeline. Palin warned you about Kenders not being able to Time Travel. It could have grave consequences.

I also heard it said on an IGN podcast that despite the bad reviews Destiny stories are still amongst the most popular each week hence they continue to write them. Point being, Destiny is a popular game. I think most people that enjoy the game are playing it whereas those with issues are on here complaining about it. Not unusual for a game forum though.
