So to the babies crying and whining Destiny is dead, Destiny won't make it until '15, all their invisible friends are leaving what is your twist on the actual facts?
Destiny averages 3.2 million players each and every day!
Average playtime is still right around 3 hours a day, even on weekdays, one month after launch.
The average player plays Destiny 1.8 times a day.
The average player has played Destiny 20.9 times.
Over the past three weeks, we’ve had more players online in Destiny than we did during the same span for Halo 3 and Halo: Reach, combined.
This clearly states that those pathetic, miserable losers crying and whining over a video game on these forums represents less then 1% of the actual player base!
EDIT: I must say over 700 post in under 24hrs! Congrats to all those crying and whining babies getting so work up over this thread. Keep your spinning going it's entertaining watching your desperation kick in! Let's hit 1000 kept it up!

39 RespuestasAnd? 75 million people a day eat McDonalds. Does that make it the best food, ever? :P Your argument was lame, and completely rendered moot by consumerism.

Editado por DNC_N7: 10/12/2014 11:48:46 PMI love playing Destiny, but you're bat shit crazy if you can't see the issues with this game. I just hope Bungie hears the feedback and takes it as a challenge to make this game what it can be. The foundation is there for an amazing game, it just depends on how it evolves. 3.2 million people played, that doesn't mean everyone thinks it's perfect. More players than Halo means little too, this came out on FOUR CONSOLES! It better have more players than Halo. I'll keep playing and hopefully Bungie will keep improving. I hate that Joe Staten and Marty are gone though. Losing Joe feels like Mass Effect 3 when Drew left to do kotor.

As I do agree with you on the fact this game will keep going... The two games you mentioned were only available on one platform... So I don't know how valid this argument is, but nonetheless I do agree with you..

1 RespuestaAddiction really sucks..... But only if you notice it.

You're so damn mad at the backlash your getting child.

6 RespuestasThat's not really impressive when you break it down on multiple consoles.

7 RespuestasEditado por KDeduster: 10/12/2014 4:00:53 AM1.8 times a day, but only 20.9 times. Those stats don't add up to me. Did they change their definition of average player, or is it 1.8 times a day on the days they play, but only 20.9 times in total? It doesn't make sense to me.

You believe liars that say "Destiny begins at level 20"? I don't.

I love destiny but until i see a player count per server i wont believe it. Cod always displays their global player count.

Destiny is available on FOUR systems. Halo 3 and Reach were on ONE.

5 RespuestasThe sad reality is that the people who enjoy the game actually play the game stead of making tons of threads. Most of us just come to the forums to find groups or to see what xur is selling. While the whiners come here solely to cry and moan. And boy do they do a lot of it, on every single game forum I have ever visited. You see this behavior a lot amongst spoiled little entitled brats. It's nothing special.

Finally a real fan instead of all these damn trolls

8 RespuestasEditado por Adam: 10/11/2014 8:54:58 PMTake into account the fact that the PS4 and Xbox One have been pretty much starved in terms of releases, the massive promotional campaign to sell the game, and most importantly, the fact that these stats are sourced from Bungie. The stats themselves are very vague in too. I'd bet my life that a small portion has already left, and that if things carry on the way they have been in terms of content quality, that it'll have a mass exodus soon Halo 4 style. Don't believe everything you read kid. They also said "It was all playable terrain" and look how that turned out haha Edit: The average player has played Destiny 20 times? How does that even make sense..... But let's look at those stats. Say the 3.2 is accurate... That's across 4 systems. The Ps3 and 360 already have massive audiences, so let's just assume the lion share of players are on the old-gen. That's what, less than a million users on the PS4? Doesn't add up at all.

13 RespuestasDestiny sold 325 million in a week. It's being sold on 4 platforms. (Xbox one, xbox 360, ps3, ps4). Halo 3 sold 300 million in a week while only being sold on the xbox 360. Destiny should have sold 4 times as many. But it didn't. And with all this on disc DLC, and repeat content labeled as "events", I'm ready for halo to come out in November and prove to bungie that they will never beat their own creation.

4 Respuestas3,2 million out of the 500 million copies shipped to retailers is pretty bad.

2 Respuestasumm... 3.2 million a day, spread out of FOUR consoles, witha playtime average of like 3 hours. so let see here, if we average that out. 24/3=8 (used to find HOURLY average pop 3,200,000/8=400,000 player (so 400k player hourly population) 400,000/4=100,000 (hourly population average on individual console) 100k average hourly pop population...which is BELOW halo 3, and halo REACH halo 3, was on a SINGLE console, back when broadband gaming was NOT the massive thing it is today, and yet, on jan 28th, 2008, a full FOUR months after release, it had a Daily population of 970,000 Halo reach on teh other hand, in december of 2010, (2.5-3 months AFTER release) Had a daily population of 840,000 which put it at roughly EQUAL population with destiny.

You use the word ignorant, but I don't think you know what it means.

That's because they just suck at life, and everything in it...generally. So they whine, moan, and bitch about every little thing to make themselves feel better. Nice name btw, kender.

3.2m is bad for one day for a game attempting to use MMo mechanics.
