EDIT: just to make it clear to some people i really DO enjoy the game for what it is. but that does not make the false advertisement this game had ok. how can you be ok with it when the destiny box still has "rich storyline" on it? EDIT2: Im not saying you cant defend the game. im saying that saying "just stop playing" or "bungie said so so you must be wrong" is just fanboyism and not a valid argument. EDIT3: I have to make things clear here. people im NOT a dumbass (propably... i mean my mum says so) i DO realize that disc locked content is common practice and not something that needs to be crucified instantly. but the games lack of storyline makes me mad over every bit of content they left out. And the sad thing is if the dlc releases with almost no real new content people are still gonna defend it because they think when it comes to playtime: quantity more important then quality Now even terminus has been found and the area has been proven (THE AREA PEOPLE! THE AREA NOT THE WHOLE MISSION) to be finished since an E3 trailer from 2013(!) and this is an area not from the next dlc but the one after that. I´m sorry but do you guys REALLY think they had it since 2013 and are just now finishing it? So you are telling me they planned the second dlc one year before the games release? If so then -blam!- you bungie. If not and it was already finished then i have 2 theorys as to why we dont have it from release. 1. Actiscum. Pretty simple. Activision went full money-grabbing-mode and said "NO! cut this and this out of the game and release it 2 months after release for the price of half the game. that way people who lost interest in the game by the time have things to do again and we get EXTRU MONEH BRO!" 2. Conspiracy Theory. So theres already been a AMA (fake or not most of the things said make sense) and discussions about how bungie had to redo the complete story after the lead writer left them (hence the giant release date delay the game had). So they have to do new cutscenes/script for the Terminus story. Honestly this is the one i belive. I think everything about the upcoming dlcs is finished except the cutscenes/story and because they didnt manage to complete it until release, they just cut 2 huge portions out of the game and sold them to us 2 months (! 2 months might be enough to redo cutscenes and voiceacting but you guys dont honestly believe that they make new missions, enemies, locations, story script, cutscenes AND new items in just 2 months. if so then you dont know much about game development) after release. I know i´ll get hate for this but i don´t care this game already gets a shitton of negativity and you know what? Bungie deserves it. Especially if there is (i expect this) NO FREE DLC TO FINISH THE STORY OR EVEN HAVE THE STORY MAKE SENSE WHATSOEVER. if their plan is to release new things in payed dlc and the only free things we get are 4 events like the queens wrath circulating then you guys should really consider flipping your tables right in their faces because its NOT acceptable (especially with those events being nothing more then more rep grinds by doing the same things again (strikes/same pvp)). Also for people with the whole "look at how long you played and now you tell me it wasnt worth your money" sorry but that argument is stupid. thats like saying minecraft should cost 70$ because of its almost infinite replayability. bungie didnt give us content worth 70$. they gave you around 9 different enemies with some resizes/reskins, and around 10 unique missions and then they just let you redo and redo and REDO the SAME stuff until you think the game has a lot of content.
