You are now the second person I have seen saying there is a correlation between Grimoire and engram drops. Where is this reference?

If you actually read your grimoire card stats on the destiny app (probly on the website too) you would know, just sayin. If you can't figure out how just open your profile and click on one of your characters and go into advisors, in there it shows a bunch of bonuses from grimoire cards that you would not know about if you didn't check it. Grimoire cards do legibly increase glimmer drops and item drops.

There are some 'hidden' buffs in the game. Wearing a particular shader, class item, and/or emblem, will give you bonus points and rep when turning in bounties. So I wouldn't be surprised if it's true that grimoire rank improves other things without it being explicitly stated.

i mean i only have 20 legendary weapons and 6 exotic weapons..and i only have 4 exotic armour...but yeah i know nothing :/

Bonus and legendary engram are not the same words. I have 3 exotic weapons loads of legendaries as well as purple and yellow armor so I have an equal say

okay ghost that is more than fair enough..i respect your opinion but i also can only back my own ideas. In this instance i trust my own experience. Time put in = cool stuff out..thats the real equation at work here :))

I'm closing in on 4 days played and I did get Gjallerhorn from a Nightfall reward so you may very well be right. However in the world of science we all know that correlation does not equal causation.
