It's called RNG! What don't you understand? Yeah... it sucks when a slacker gets a random item just for showing up - but you're trying to assert that somehow by doing nothing you're more likely to get exotics, and doing better means you're less likely. That's simply not true. There should be better awareness by the game though to kick those players out of games that do that, as they drag the team down completely. Maybe there should be a report system put in place for those players... a one time thing shouldn't get you a ban, but maybe at 10 complaints you get a 1 week ban from the crucible? Might be too harsh of a punishment, as I'm sure there might be a legit reason someone had to suddenly go AFK, so maybe your reports reset monthly to balance it? I dunno...
