You're right. It's not Halo it's a different game called Destiny and Bungie is just trying new things. I personally like it, even though I'm a level 27 without doing the raid once.

So he bought the game then found out its kinda boring repetitive grind fest. I don't mind grinds, but I put in the time on this game and it's sad how little originality there is beyond a very superficial level. The enemy AI is incredibly predictable, the mission design is frankly pathetic and copy pasted from one to the next, the bosses are all just big versions of standard enemies with only the raid boss (who is also a reskin) having anything resembling a unique attack. I wanted to like this game but it's so boring after you play through the sad excuse of a story. I pre ordered it based on the beta and their press releases. Also preordered the DLC. Those are my mistakes, but now that they have my money they get to hear me complain until I get everything I paid for.
