Error Code: Oyster
I've been trying to play destiny for a while and whenever I launch the game an update shows up and the progress is stuck at 0% then it gives me an error code "oyster"; I kept searching for a solution and read somewhere that I need to reinstall the game.. I've done that like 7 times and it still gives me the error.. I cant seem to find a solution..
Is there a way to solve this problem?

Does anybody have any fix for this error . I have a hard copy of the game and I have been unable to update it because it keeps on giving me the oyster error. I have tried everything... This really sucks :(

1 RespuestaI have the same issue! Been trying things for over 4 hours now including multiple installs/deletions. I tried downloading to a formatted USB, i've cleared the system cache multiple times, I've deleted all files relating to the game and searched for any other corrupted material. I have also tried installing the game at the Games menu on the Xbox Dashboard and then booting the game, but it seems to require an update and compatibility pack 1 that keep crashing, and then giving me the Oyster code. Please help if anyone has solved!

Issue is basically Bungie needs to push that update through again because it didn't reach everyone but I'm not deleting my saved files cause I don't want to lose my hard work. BUNGIE fix this issue or its going to turn out to be a big waste of money and a lot of people are going to go pick up COD, Call of Duty, I prefer this over COD.

Same with me deleted everything destiny related on my console wiped the cache to my hard drive multiple times and redownloaded the game. Update will only get to 85% then crash. Is there any fix? Error code: Oyster
