It completely negates the whole point of grinding for better gear. Yes I know it's randomised, but a lot of it isn't. For those that get legendary gear from engrams, how often have you had a legendary engram drop? Me personally. Probably three or four times in my whole forty hours of play. You got an exotic from an engram you bought from Xur? You had to work for those strange coins to get it in the first place. Trading opens the door to people not willing to work for their gear. It's a cheap feature that the game can do without.
