Why does the Archon Priest have a gun when he's a prisoner?
Every time i play the mission it's bugged me. If he is a prisoner in a cell that look's like its from Dragonball Z how does he still have a weapon?

Best explanation I can come up with: when you headshot a fallen there souls get pulled out and they die. The point of the strike is to prevent the fallen from restoring the priest soul. No soul = can't move, they probably never figured it would happen.

A better question is why we didn't just push the prison cell off the cliff and into the lava.

Because that is the calibur of story telling you expect from a game that the whole campaign is nothing but "protecting" your ghost from 3 waves while he technobabbles a lock.

1 RespuestaWouldn't call it much of a prison... The people sent him to Venus (note that fallen are commonly found on earth, derp) so I think they tried to desert him on Venus, with only a gun as protection

My guess is they froze his body/soul or something and just beamed him right into the cell. Took me all of 3 seconds to think out,I really think bungie thought more people would use their imagination or critical thinking when they made the game.

He was captured during combat and they were just glad to have his ass in wraps, gun or not. He knew better than to fire the gun in that metal chamber........would have been messy!
