VEX MYTHOCLAST RUINING GAME
If you don't know already, people have already beat the raid on hard difficulty and have gotten the most OP gun in the game. The VEX MYTHOCLAST. The gun shoots out fusion rifle shots. The gun has a 21 round magazine and is a semi auto. The gun is a 4 shot kill in pvp and who knows what in pve. You NEED to nerf this no matter what. Just watch the video you will see.
Edit: shoots fusion rifle shots not pulse rifle.

Judging by the videos I've seen, its hella OP, but at this point its definitely not ruining the game. Probably only a handful of people have even gotten it.

People like to talk about pvp being about skill and then on the other side of their mouth say not to balance weapons. If you time the guys kill times in the video it is literally less than one second to get off all four shots to kill someone (the gun actually has 6 shots per second). With something like that, you have absolutely no time to react. I'm on the side that says keep it as it is for pve but normalize it for pvp. Sure, people would call it "bland" if all weapon types did the same type of damage and your mods didn't do anything for you, but guess what? FPS online games that have normalized weapons have continued to be popular and retain many players. So basically, you bungie can make super op weapons for pve. Pvp however should have weapons be normalized.

3 RespuestasYo, that gun is crazy but this game has a huge skill gap. The people who are good enough to get that gun are top tier. They would have destroyed in PvP anyways. The gun just helps. The suros is a 2-3 shot so vex must be a 2 shotter.

Go beat the raid on Hard than and try to get it. You act like everyone gets it but it's still a VERY RARE rifle! Those who have it, deserve it. The raid isn't easy on hard! Move on man. Everyone complains about stuff being "OP" all the time. Just play the damn game!

PVP in this game has nothing to do with skill. In fact I cannot believe this garbage made it out of beta. So the guy has a good gun. Then just leave the match. This is the only multi-player PVP game I have ever played that stats translate to nothing meaningful. Destiny pvp is a distraction when playing with friends but frankly no one can stomach something this bad for very long. I remember playing black ops for hours upon hours but you cannot get competitive fps players do this cap for more than like 3 games. It is just stupid. My point is why do you care? Worry about k/d in battlefield or COD. This game has no skill gap period. It does not matter. Some kids want it to matter but in the end it doesn't. Destiny just doesn't have good, balanced, and competitive pvp. That gun drops off the last boss on hard mode?

I guess it's a good thing that only a hand-full of people have this weapon, huh? Stop freaking out. Save it for when/if Xur starts selling it (highly doubt it). Then you can go cry as loud as you want.

It was done on hard mode of the raid. I personally think it's worth it. RNG may or may not be on your side when doing it but I think a great weapon for great feat. I'd love to get my hands on that, but I don't see that happening any time soon.

Watch the video again. You'll notice people only hit him ah handful of times to bring him low on health. Also, what was their k:d? I think this is more of a "he's better than most so we should nerf the gun he's using! " Yeah the gun is insanely strong, but everything in pvp is normalized as far as damage is concerned. The perks on the weapon and the player's skill (obvious he has some cause he beat VoG on hard mode! ) are not normalized. Nothing to see here, move along and accept the fact that there are people better than you out there.

It will need a slight nerf (lower fire rate) eventually but it currently isn't game-breaking because only a handful of people have it.

They should just adjust the dmg in pvp so people can still enjoy their very strong and rare gun while they shoot vex is the ... tummy?
