Hello Master.
My team and I beat the Vault of Glass today. We were all very excited. I understand that there is a CHANCE to get items for this, but no one getting any items (including motes, shards, energy, etc) except the Chatter White Shader and the Xbox Achievement seems a little more like punishment than a reward. Where's our Raid Set Gear, Legendary/Exotic items, etc? If there is no reward at the end, few people will want to try this. It was first stated that completing the Raid WILL give you great gear and items. Randomizing it is fine, but getting SOMETHING as a reward of hours and hours of playing, coordinating, screaming at each other, laughing, crying would be rather nice. I love this game and have been a BUNGIE fan since your beginnings. Please award us accordingly. I would love to hear from you or anyone at Bungie. Would love something yummy for the hardwork please.

All I got was a legendary ship and like 3 acendant energy. Like really. What a waste of time.

Just do the weekly nightfall, you're basically guaranteed an exotic. We did it in 30 minutes yesterday before the vault and two guys got exotic weapons with engrams and one got 11 ascendent shards and an engram. Then we do the vault in like 4 hours and we get shaders.

No music, you can here only your own gun firing, really poor in every aspect compairing to any other part of the game.

Lmao god I'd hate to be a bungie employee having all of this nonsense and entitlement directed at them. Do the raid next week, try your luck again. What goes through your head thinking that for some reason the raid was going to be any different from every other part of the game that relies on RNG loot. Or different from the raids in any other game for that matter?

As for thinking the Raid would be different from the rest of the game, well, Bungie has been saying since day 1 it would be. Given that you have to reach a certain level just to access it and have top tier weapons to have a chance of finishing it, given the average time to complete and given that it is the end game Bungie has been raving about, then quality rewards are expected. You go through the shallow, repetitive grind of the so called story or the lag fest of the multiplayer which is supposed to be on dedicated servers just to access the Raids. The reward for putting up with all that is supposed to be found at the end of the Raids.

After suffering through the vault of glass for two hours plus. I personally was a little flustered when I received nothing more than 3 ascendant energies from the final boss. With that being said I waste the same amount of time in pvp or strikes getting the same rewards in a fraction of the time. All in all people just need to lick their wounds and move on

It's not the same rewards, as only exotic and raid gear will allow you to level up to 30. Leaving you needing a minimum of 3 raid pieces to hit the light needed for 30.
