I think it was meant to mostly be used for pve but it doesnt really do very well in that even when you get the string of curses upgrade it still gets outclassed by rare weapons in damage especially against bosses and non tier 1 enemies like thralls or dregs. basically its the perfect gun for patrolling the cosmodrome unless you stumble upon an enemy with a shield or a yellow health bar. Its such a dissapointment because i love the look and feel of the weapon its just too bad that it sucks the D to use. Really happy theyre giving it a buff though :D
