The Queens Wrath
[i]Dimantle Armour issue[/i]
Ive just become rank 1 Queens Wrath, Hellalueh!!! All I get is Legendary Chest Armour I already have Raid gear in which im set on. I Have 4 other Legendary Chest Armour in my inventory and if I dismantle I get nothing for it. Now to get the Chest armour I have to work hard for it. Its not like I handed to me in 5 minutes work. Its a 2 Part process that is now useless. Please fix asap for the betterment of the game. At least 1 Shard for crying out loud.
1st. Do a Queens Wrath Bounty
2nd. Now complete a Queens Wrath Mission.
Time? Some can take nearly 1-2 hours completion depending on the mission and if you are alone or not.
My self and the broader guardian communitie will now not complete anymore Queens Wrath Missions because it is Pointless.
Not even a Legendary Engram is dropped in the 15 Wraths that I have completed so far. Just Chest Armour after chest armour and the are all the same type of Armour, now [b][i][u]WTF[/u][/i][/b] am i gonna do with all these Legendary Chest Armour thays all the same and absolutley useless to me. So I Keep 1 and Dismantle the other 3 for Shard. Not anymore what a joke.
I work very hard to complete Queens Wrath Missions and if I wanna Dismantle for Acendant materials well so be it. Its not like Guardians dont deserve it. If you all agree that dismantle of Queens Wrath gear should reward you with Acendant materials then like the post.

I too share the same thought. I recently posted on this matter and a few others. I was really looking forward to the missions for this very purpose so that I can finally focus on macros, but the work-to-gain ratio is absolutely screwed. Complete Queen's Bounty + Complete Queen's Wrath (Epic + 2 randomized modifiers) = Legendary armor you surely already have as a Rank 1 in the Queen's Favor that you can't dismantle for anything but a small amount of glimmer and class-centric upgrade materials (which, by the way we did not see an increase of in the absence of the ascendant shards). The amount of potential I see in the Destiny skeleton is incredible, but don't go against in-game logic because you deem it as an "exploit" because it goes against the MO of why you guys structured Queen's Wrath the way you did. You need to cater to your captured audience as a whole - not just the loudest. I'm sure you guys already know someone is far more prone to being vocal about something they're unhappy than if they were happy with it. When you cater to the loudest in the way that somewhat low-blows those who have been loyal to the project, you create a new problem whilst silencing only a few of the now loud and raging. I am neither, but you need to be aware of this. Yes, I'm unhappy with you guys having no problem contradicting in-game logic for Queen's Wrath, but the precedent concerns me far more than quick-leveling for those sub-25. It is my hope that you cater to each tier in an equal fashion and focus not so much on leveling the playing field on a framework that has yet to be really expanded upon to the extent that this concern necessitates warrant. It'd be one thing if there were a plethora vendors and variants for aesthetics/armor with flex stats rather than static, but that is not the case (yet). This is but my two cents; your currency may vary.

I second your opinion and agree. this game is called destiny for a reason forge your own destiny which is what the game was sold on so why are all the perks and rewards exactly the same as everyone else. why does all the millions of guardians look the exact same moving up the ranks. why are legendary weapons the same as exotic damage wise perks may vary but not for the exotics. My other issue is why are the exotic weapons take more to upgrade but do the same amount of damage as a legendary. Bungie has run into many issues and so far they have not addressed any of the common ones. Instead there are listening to the loudest whiners. Destiny has a lot of potential to be great I just hope that the bungie team can see the vision for the better good of the community.

You have to understand more people complain about the game than people that don't. Also they don't answer to the loudest they answer to the most common problem and fix it if they can. I get that people that love the game as is won't ever be that way in any game like this (referring to mmos mostly). The game has to change to keep everyone interested not just a certain group of people.

well bungie still have not fixed the most common problem as of yet. there servers you would think this would be a priority, to add to the dilemma the bounty glitches n which you have to do double the work work to attain the little reward, not to mention this was suppose to be community friendly where friendships and enemies where made based on preference and style but the chat is non existant in any way shape and form.

That is one of the problems I have with the game as well but I'm sure they'll fix the communication and the other in game problems. But to the server problems that's will just be a problem until faster internet is.available to the public this is the first game that surpasses the ability of our internet. Now this only happens because everyone uses the internet a lot especially at night if all those people didn't use it I'm sure it would run perfectly and I know it frustrating to happen over and over again but also realize that bungie know about the problem and is work and an amazingly fast pace I be it'll be fix with in 2 months that really isn't that long.

It's one update at a time everything you just complained about has been addressed be patient it's a schedule they have to stick too and it more about fix the whole problem there are more than you realize. And I seen three updates for the game already when other either don't get them or one every month or two. I'm impressed with how much work they're putting into this game and for what a while bunch of people who do nothing other than complain or want more content.

They should at least dismantle for 1 ascendant shard or 1 ascendant energy. Most players have different gear setups to prepare themselves for heroic or epic battles. Including several elemental weapon types needed to battle shielded enemies. It sucks to have 300 atack capable weapons, but not be able to upgrade them, because you only have enough for 1 or 2 per week. Same goes for armor.

They patched it out because people like myself were able to fully upgrade legendary and exotic gear in 1 day or less

I understand that. I would rather see some other rewards given for going through all the trouble than given an item 7 times which I already have and have to break it down. they probably should just have some powerful rare gear from the queen rather than legendary in which I have no use for. Furthermore the reputation earned should be for both bounty and mission not just bounty. the gear that's legendary items should be just in her inventory. There should also be a chance to win some legendary gear from the mission itself. I other issue at the moment the queen should have her own agenda of missions and not be the same missions of our guardian, better yet I would rather see the queen send gaurdians on quests similar to the raid to find those she seeks out to destroy, and be able to explore more of the galaxy in a different point of view. the raid is the best part of the game but there is only 1 raid at the moment.

Queens wrath has become pointless. especially with same reward constantly and they took away the only true reward out of completing her missions the bounties are tedious and always the same day in day out. So phantomDealer clearly your have no gaming mind and clearly don't understand the concept of the game so I ask please stop playing destiny and lock up your system. Your comments are moronic and if you like getting the same rewards over and over again shows where you stand. Let me give you some insight, so hopefully this helps. Legendary gear always gives ascendant shards on break down because that's the purpose of the legendary gear after you have your legendary set or sets put together. The queens wrath is a special event that lasts 2 weeks in which you have 5 bounties per day that turns into 5 missions per day for the queen. These missions are nothing more than the story missions which is a disappointment in itself, personally I would like to see some new queen specific missions and be rewarded differently. If they want to strip the queens legendary gear to give you nothing they might as well make the gear useless rare gear. To add to the issue you only get reputation or experience with the queen for her bounties and you don't even get that for the missions.

Doing the Queen's Wrath kill order is a joke now. I understand not awarding shards, but then give us 5-10 random raw materials (spinmetal, spirit bloom, etc) maybe based upon what world the strike was on.

I agree 100%. There is no point completing queens missions now if you're in full legendary armour already.

No the minority are the people on here complaining about something that is said and done. The best part about the mission was the helmet which are expensive to buy and impossible to find. I can't play hours a day every day. In the now three weeks I have only had about 65 hours of game time. So I can't just run the queens missions all the time I am on it boring and dull so what good dose it do for us how can't play all the time and how just started. It would be unfair. I will admit getting ride of the shards completely was an over reaction.
