Everyone on here is blaming BUNGIE but the real enemy is ACTIVISON here at E3 we saw Bungie's take on this game and at release we saw what ACTIVISON had done, stripped most of its content to sell to use later idk why most of you are surprised they have been doing this for years with call of duty

1 RespuestaActivision regularly releases complete games. Bungie regularly doesn't. It's as simple as that. The worst part? This whole fiasco actually has me depressed. The E3 2013 gameplay was SO much better than what we got, and according to some early alpha testers, there was much more to happen in the game. But what happened? This game appeared to have been the next Star Wars. But suddenly, Staten leaves. Then, O'Donnel is fired. I'm so tired of games and I was really counting on Destiny to bring me back. I've put so much time into a terrible game. That's how low I've gotten. Please Bungie. Fix your game. Do whatever it takes. And in this case, "whatever it takes" means releasing DLC expansions 1 and 2 for free as soon as possible.

5 RespuestasWell with Activision you can certainly see the fellowship of CoD players who run to anything that they sell and assume its another version of CoD. Now I am not sure how much interference Activision has with Bungie and I hope it is limited but we still need to give this game a little time to fix all the issues. Once this game is polished enough, and of course they should not nerf half of the weapons and skills that they plan on doing due to crybaby players, we will see a grand game. It is still pretty awesome and I still enjoy playing it even though right now many of us are furious over the nerfing of auto-rifles, loot drops, and my personal favorite the removal of descendant shards from the armors obtained in the queens wrath event.

1 RespuestaIf Activision did this to budgie, just imagine what they have done to sledgehammer's new game titanfall modern advanced warfare opp's, and I bet people have still pre ordered the collectors edition for that lag experience they all love lol I'll never by Dlc again after what went on in mw3

3 RespuestasUm... Activision did not hold a gun to their head. They dangled cash, a lot of it, and a ten year deal. Bungie is definitely culpable for making a deal with the devil and all the demons that come with it. For that, they have to be held accountable. Given how things went with Microsoft as the publisher - developing one of the most beloved franchises in gaming, I am surprised that they sold their soul to Activision. Even going full bore with Sony as the publisher would have been better. And yes, I too smell the Activision monetization group all over this game, dictating content release schedules and packaging to maximize profit. But that was still Bungie's choice and they appear to have done exactly what they said they would never do - put money and profit ahead of their game, their creativity and their fan base.

The issue is bungie is the image behind the game so most people associate them with any and all destiny related problems
-
I'm pretty sure bungie is doing all the work, all Activision did was slapped their name on it because of a court incident bungie had with activision
-
1 RespuestaI think we all suspect that... but some sources have cited that bungie still holds the majority rights to Destiny. Which makes the blame much more ambiguous... do you have any proof or source of this statement or is it opinion worded as fact?

2 RespuestasBungie made the game. Bungie decided to cooperate with activision (they were also in talks with Microsoft - but this failes because then it would have been a Xbox exclusive again and i think they wanted to reach a greater fanbase with each platform). But it seems really like there went something REALLY REALLY wrong during the developement process... the story and campaign seems so broken like they made it within a couple of month but they started to thin about destiny since HALO 3: ODST which released (not developed) in 2009, so i think there was enough time to build high quality content and story. (The engine is very good i think, maybe they developed this for the whole time^^).

5 RespuestasHaha we didn't do anything of the sort, crazy person. Bungie had full control on this. We BARELY touched it. Bungie spear-headed. We sat back and said, OK WHAT CAN WE DO NOW?
-
1 RespuestaBungie MADE this game Activision owns it there's a difference
-
1 RespuestaThey signed on with Activision willingly.
-
1 RespuestaWhos name is on the game?? BUNGIE. Quit whitewashing.
-
1 RespuestaNo it's still Bungie's fault. It's not like Activision didn't already have a reputation for driving IP's into the ground. Bungie should have had better contract terms with Activision if they didn't want them messing with the game. Did they learn nothing from Microsoft?
-
3 RespuestasEven if Activision did all of that, BUNGIE needs to communicate with us better. About all of this shit. DeeJ cames back once a week to answer questions that no one cares about, and the real questions are being ignored.

3 RespuestasEditado por Ribelle Mage: 9/29/2014 2:11:13 AMNo, sir you're uneducated and stupid. It's You're as in 'you are' not your as in 'belongs to you' You can't even use proper grammar, who could trust 'your' opinion? Destiny is supported and was designed by Bungie, not Activision. That being said, get your facts straight.

5 RespuestasMy biggest complaint is that the game is 3 players, really 3 players such a odd number. If they did there research they would know a fire team is 5. But for the purpose of the game 4 would have been nice. They should have took some pages out of borderlands book. I understand you want to make a challenging game but really you made it not even worth playing your loot drop system is garbage. Then when you play crucible it seems like the worse you do the better shit you get and then better you do the more likely you won't get rewarded it's BS. Borderlands is the perfect model of how a game like this should be made it had amazing story and they replay value you was through the roof. I am a lvl 27 in destiny and I can't even do anything else except the raids oh I can try and get ascendant energy and shards but yall got to Jewish with that shit so it's pointless.

1 RespuestaNo blame Bungie. They are the game designers and developers. Not Activisions fault.
-
4 RespuestasYou're a dumbass. Activision is the publisher of destiny, not the developer. Every downfall that destiny has is bungies fault. Get your head out of your ass.
-
1 RespuestaNothing against bungie but they let the game become like this. They couldve made this without activision and it would have been better. Unless they needed the money.
-
Pretty much what they get for letting corrupt publishers like Activision do the marketing for their game. Activision tells Bungie how to set the game up to make money, not good reviews.
-
1 RespuestaIf it's true that Activision had a hand at this game then that explains everything ... COD sucks ass. Stay in your lane Activision and let the big boys do their job!
-
Honestly this makes perfect sense.
-
2 RespuestasIf your name is on it, you're legally responsible. VtxR - PS3
-
10 RespuestasAre you retarded?
-
He's completely right have of the stuff from trailers and early gameplay is not in the game
-
The problem is everyone expecting god hood out of this game. Cool your shiza people and give bungee a chance to do what they do.
